I know it is a negative title but I couldn't be more upset nor could I feel more betrayed. So I am asking everyone here why they do or do not plan to buy DA II?
Personally I think it is shaping up to be the worst Bioware game to date & one of the worse sequels in gaming history. They have changed the user interface, graphics, art style, combat & spell animations, & the dialogue system. So basically they are saying that was all flawed in DA:O? It was a flop of a game? I can't believe how terrible this game looks. I'm completely put off by the low quality, fast & choppy animations acompanied by the worst UI I have seen in years. It looks completely out of place, I feel the series dies with Origins. I plan to play DA II by renting it if I can get my hands on it & if not I really doubt I will be missing much at all. Seems like consoles are slowly destroying gaming & I hope it all falls to hell so we can build it back up & bring the classics back.

Start a discussion or a flame war? You arent trying to really justify your position. You are simply stating that you dont like the direction of the game. It's great as long as you dont start being insulting in forums.

I like to support my favorite game developers.
Plus maybe all the changes really do make the game better it'll be interesting to see how it turns out to be. Not to mention i really want to see the next chapter in the story i want to see how Flemeth is involved and what she really is up to.

You know, these days, money is a hard thing to earn. And it's nobody's business what one wants to do with it, so long as it's their money. So, yeah, it bothers me that you're going on about "wasting your money". If it's your opinion that it's not worth your money, then great, don't spend it. But don't try to tell everyone else they're wasting it, that's just lame.
That said, I already did. I got a voucher from EA around my birthday, luckily had the money then, pre-ordered the damned thing, and I'm so very happy that I was able to.

I can completely see where you are coming from, and I'm sure Bioware was expecting a lot of reactions like this, but give the game a chance. You haven't even played it yet and to make such harsh judgements is unfair to the people that worked their ass off to make YOU and me happy. Wait till you play the game, bud.
