for the Me movie. I mean, with todays technology it should be a pice of cake.

I don't see why it wouldn't be a possibilty. It would provide a lot of fan service while not taking too mcuh away from the quality of the film.

Ah, but what if its a movies based in the universe but not on the game? Like how they've handled the books so far. They mention Shepard's exploits, but only thing that have to happen, like killing Saren. Never any of the specifics.

No main characters from the game. New cast, new adventure, same universe. I think that'd make a great ME movie.

It's astonishing how few people realize this.

The ME movie isn't being made for ME fans. The whole point of making a big-budget movie is to put butts in seats and sell concessions, not to make a few gamers happy.

That said, I will go see the ME movie regardless of who plays Shepard.

Isn't Vanderloo a model not an actor? Even if they do somehow figure out a way to lipsync perfectly (doubt it) without looking weird how do we know he can even pull off all the combat and facial emotions demanded of him.

It's also produced by legendary Pictures, who did The Dark Knight, and Casey Hudson, Dr. Zeschuk and Dr. Muzyka from BioWare.

But producers alone don't make good movies. The best producer is someone who stays as far away from the project as possible.

I'm expecting the movie to be outside Shepard's story arc. I mean like games 1-3 is all about Shepard and if you make a movie about him also, it would ruin the whole idea of the game's story. It's about Shepard and only about him. They should make another story for the movie and have another character have us be more indulge to the universe of Mass Effect.

Quite simply the worst idea for the Mass Effect movie I have seen on this forum. It includes using Shepard as a character and includes dubbing!



The only way the Mass Effect movie will work is to entirely avoid Shepard and to go the CG route. Something along the lines of Avatar would be perfect. Real actors with CG overlays.
