I would not appreciate Anders as the final companion. It's very gimmicky, like Sebastian, who is a CLEAR apology to Nathaniel fangirls.
I wish. If he was, he'd be romanceable. It sounds like all you can do is flirt with him.
Oh, so then they must just be MILKING the fangirls? That's the opposite of good!

I won't hate it, but will be a bit disappoint, since as LI Anders is already on my reject pile and I'd rather have someone new. But he's a good mage and good buddy material, so I'd live with it.
Yeah, I guess that's the biggest reason I wouldn't like him as a party member again: I already know Anders. I basically know how he talks and thinks, at least some of his history, and such. There's no mystery and "hey now, who's this~?" about him. Oh. It's Anders. Hey. Not to mention any convoluted backstory they'd have to do to get him into the party. Garrus' Archangel recruit plot was cool, but he basically blew off the whole C-Sec thing in a sentence. Is that what Anders will do to Awakenings? And the biggest problem is that the main character is completely different. Tali and Garrus were building a relationship over two games. Anders is not. And he's either here because the writers really want someone snarky/cute to write but couldn't think of new character because 3 snarky/cute guys would be too obvious, or because it's fanservice. I don't really appreciate either ... (I like fanservice in gestures, not concrete gameplay elements). To each their own!
All that said, if he's in the game, okay. I'll play it through before I judge it as a mistake. If the world was lacking familiarity or continuity with the previous ones, and this was the only way to fix it, then we'll see.
Rant ooovaaah.
