Hmm, they said "Hard decisions". Does that mean not all choices will be able to save Connen and his mother? I really hope so, I really like making hard decisions in RPGs. And having an option to make everyone happy isn't hard.

I am disappoint at all the support for Hawke's VA. He sounds like a Monty Python reject. The more I learn about this game, the less happy I am. How much great character banter is now gone because of 2 fully voiced MCs? That change was completely unnecessary. On top of that, the story has lost it's LotR epicness in favor of some stupid time jumping story about a guy I couldn't care less about. Even if the story wasn't lame, the game is now less than half the length of DA:O. Maybe I should be grateful. I'm thinking of cancelling my preorder.

Facial-wise yes, but the Na'vi had warrior bodies, even the women.

Why is that too much to ask.    Even the aliens in ME didn't look like little kids.

On the bright side, the human models are all looking better.  So maybe Merrill will get a pick me up before the final.  I just shudder to meet Cammen 2.0.

I just don't like children in my rpgs. . .it's what turned me off to JRPGs, and it's why I will be judgmental.

Sorry, but that's not true at all. Female characters have always been disproportionately picked apart -- usually by male fans, though not always -- than male characters. There's probably lots of reasons for that, but it's been pretty consistently true for many games now.

Plenty of people complained about Isabela's 'man-chin' or thought Bethany's chest was disproportionately large, but it can't possibly measure more in magnitude than Carver 'derpiness'. If any criticism is weighted more toward female character's, it's wardrobe-specific, and that's more by fans opposed to the notion of fighting dragons on mountaintops in metal bikinis than any kind of sexual bias.

I think you are panicking for no reason good sir. Character banter should be better now. You never had a hard time discering how a line was going to be said by your character in Origins? It should have MORE epicness, It's like there was any sort of universal chronology in Origins anyways. Who ever confirmed it's length?

What made you care the least bit about the Warden before DA1?  It is really really tough to care about a character when you know so little about them.

It's really terryfying to me how bad this game looks. Of course, if you like anime, it's probably all right, but when you despise it, as I do, it is truly horrible to look at.

What's really astounding to me, is that presently I am playing a total conversion of Oblivion called Nehrim. Oblivion is from 2006, but this -fanmade- mod simply looks stunning, far better than both DA:O and DA2. The idea of having to look at DA2 now, is unbearable. Well, perhaps it will look better on PC.

Can't say I like Hawke's voice either. If they -had- to use VA, why could they not find someone with a great voice? Christopher Eccleton, Kevin McKidd or James Purefoy are all great British actors with good voices.

And on that topic, ISabela obviously has a huge rack, but its disappointing to seem like its the same problem as Origins where every lady is sporting massive assets- just look at the old chantry lady in Sebastian's trailer. And then Bethany and just about every non-armor wearing female. Its fine if some are well endowed, but it looks juvenile and silly when just about every non-armor wearing woman is sporting DDs.  

This.  And I *am* well-endowed in RL.  It isn't all it is cracked up to be and I would rather not see ONLY huge breasts everywhere.  How about some balance, you know, like RL where some people are and some people aren't.  

Some of the lighting looked very nice!

Carver, Aveline and Cassandra look promising though.   Still, I am pretty disappointed and I don't get disappointed by games much.  [*]

Might be why I seem to be in the minority that doesn't like Hawke's accent, he sounds like a irritating upper class robotic sod; its the only thing I don't like about the video.

I'm also really surprised at the typical 'those hooters are huge' comments about Merril. They didn't look overly big to me on 1st impressions at all. As a matter of fact of what I've seen of all the characters only Isabella has the really large chest and that includes Bethany as well. I know I'm in the minority on this one.
