Perhaps, but again I did say "too big" (or "too large") is subjective for what one considers to be "the right size" or some other such nonsense.

That said - use a measuring device and see that her breasts are about as big as her head (bigger than her face) and their diameter is the length of her upper arm.

Bad or good, its aesthetic taste.  I'm not a fan of it, but it doesn't bother me as, again, comic book fan and I had to deal with horrible anatomical exaggerations (especially for woman's breasts) long ago in my childhood.  I'm mostly desensitised unless I actually make anatomical comparative measurements.

I'm glad that Merrill has been confirmed. Personally, I think she looks cute and I would like to see more shots of her before railing against the design.

If she's the "nice girl" LI, then that gives me an incentive to play as a Male Hawke ( that and the fact that the default male Hawke looks pretty good ).

Now, if only they can confirm Anders as a LI for Lady Hawke!!

I'm definitely loving this game more now! : ) 

Here's my thoughts: 

-Hawke's VO: Not too bad, as an American I'm not used to the British accent, so I guess I'm less discerning when it comes to that voice. Definitely beats out Shepard's male VO, that's for sure.
-Cassandra: *I* *LOVE*  I thought the pale blonde hair was cool but I don't mind that they reverted back to the black hair, I think the goth look does her in much better that way anyhow. She's going to be a favorite NPC of mine, I know that for sure.
 
-Companions: It makes sense to have a small companion list, similar to Mass Effect 1. Carver/Bethany seem like short term party members, but tie into the story much deeper, especially the whole apostate mage thing. I can just see a potential sibling rivalry into where one sibling can even become your enemy. There's two of each class (excluding Sebastian) and each will fill a niche.

(Aveline- weapon & shield warrior, Fenris- two hand warrior, Varric- archer rogue, Isabela- dual wielding rogue, Merrill- healing mage (most likely), Unknown Blonde Dude With Nice Black Trenchcoat Thingy- offensive mage)

-Aveline: I can actually see her as a potential LI based on that scene where Hawke tells her "it's been a long time" (of course it can mean other things, but I'm just saying), given that all three original female party members in Mass Effect (Ashley, Liara, Tali in ME2) were romanceable I don't see why not. I like that she's not a supermodel and has more of a 'natural woman' feel, very gritty. Even if she's not romanceable I like her character a lot.

-Isabela: Nice retouches on the face, I can see her as Dragon Age 2's hybrid of ME2's Jack and Origin's Morrigan with a splash of piratey goodness.

-Carver: Nice to see the underrated sibling of the two get some love and attention (and the removal of the Frankenstein-esque jaw).

-Merrill: Cute, very, very cute. I like how elves aren't minature humans with pointy ears now.

-Story Itself: Awesome. Can't wait Bioware, can't wait...

Argh by the time March gets here i'm going to be rocking backward and forward in a corner ;(

I wish it were possible to just sleep. Sleep right through and wake up when the game is delivered to my door.

It looks so much better than Origins, and Origins is one of my all time favourite games.

The only comment I have is Merrill. I think she looks good for a female elf, but she looks like the small and adorable 'little sister' type and it would look so wrong if Hawke was to romance her >.

She looks like she can't stay out adventuring too long incase she misses her bedtime.

One thing that stood out for me in this video was David Gaider saying something along the lines of after Origins they couldn't sit on their laurels and that Bioware is always interested in evolution. This finally made me stop comparing DA2 to DAO and make a clear separation in my mind.



Despite the obvious connections between the two games/stories, I am going to treat DA2 as a seperate entity completely. It's the only way I'm going to 'immerse" into the new DA experience without the constant ****ing/comparing/mourning about differences with Origins etc.

Elves that look alien and not like human race! The joy... Thank you BioWare. Its O.K for her to not look "correct" (too lithe, huge eyes,huge irises,straight nose) by human standards as she is from different species. Fenris too, do not posses human males muscle definition.

I personally love everything so far. I think it is a huge step up from the first game. Actually I think the only thing I dont like is the new inventory screen and hud, seems a little futuristic for my taste.



Who is voicing Isabela though? Is it just me or did she sound alot like Claudia Black (Morrigan).I know she isnt doing the VO this time but still.

A few remarks, in no particular order :

- best trailer so far

- love the variety of clothes and armor ; twas about time we saw some of those !

- textures look a lot smoother (more detailed) than in other videos ; is this the PC version or just more recent footage ?

- at some point, when Fenris shows up and Gaider's voice goes off at the same time, I assumed he was the VA ^^ ! "Oh, so that's why he accepted David's request right away, he has a personality disorder !"

- the shot of the characters lying down in what I assume to be a boat is really cool, with the poses feeling pretty natural/not too static

- I still have trouble identifying with a big guy like Hawke, especially when he's standing next to that cute Elfette, making him look even more badass, but then again it's just a game and it's cool we can customize him/her in the first place, and I'm sure once I've done that I'll be in-character in no time

- is it all game engine footage btw (little crow next to the boat, chandelier in one ofthe rooms etc.) ? If so, great job, it feels quite cinematic !

- Varric throwing something, swinging an arrow in his hand, Cassandra throwing a book and stabbing it... I like the attention given to small objects (often in Origins, the character's hand would just be hidden and the player would have to assume they're handling something -most obvious example being the invisible corpses dumped in the well in Denerim)

- Cassandra's hairstyle is a nice tradeoff from the two other versions we've seen ; makes Fenris' more unique I guess

- "wait... you're not thinking of bringing feelings into this" > oops, seems like I'm gonna have to Morrigan my way to Isabela's heart ! Her looks and animations totally make me want to go for it though

- I see there's some physics to Bethany's hair !!!!! Please tell me this will be the case with long hairstyles for males (because there are some, right ?!)

- Not too fond of Hawke's VA (I mean, his voice is awesome, but I wouldn't necessarily have it for my PC). But you couldn't have unanimity on that so it's good that it's a somewhat "neutral" voice (a little serious IMO but better that than Russell Brand)

- Overall, good surprise !

A Russian preview mentioned her being a companion, and they look fairly similar. This as well as the fact that the Maharel clan (Merril's) will appear according to Gaider.

Edit: Think it was Russian at least.

Because we had an interview in German a few weeks ago that said it was her--however, due to either an error on the translators part, or simply misinformation, it got Fenris' class wrong, so we didn't know what to assume was right or wrong.

Also, I think that was a pretty obvious clarification that Merrill is a LI.

My feelings after watching this video:

[*]The art style is still too sharp and clean for me, but I can live with it. I just wish it was darker and grittier. I want my dark fantasy à la Berserk (Kentarou Miura).[*]I sure am glad we can edit Hawke’s head, because he really looks like a bum. The shape of his beard is particularly horrible.[*]Liked Cassandra’s look and presence. Too bad she probably won’t be a party member.
[*]Varric's chest and pearl necklace or whatever are very ******. Is he a dwarf stripper or something?

Overall, my opinion of the whole thing has slightly improved. Interested? Yes. Convinced? Far from it. I'll wait for the word and certainly won't preorder it.

I must be the only one who liked Cassandra's white hair. I loved it. Now we're back to the black. She looked great though and so did Isabela. I thought everyone did except for Merrill.

Not digging the Merrill look, not at all. I don't think she is even cute. Kinda gross actually. I hope if we run into Zevran, he won't be that short. Please put some color in Merrill's face. Isn't the climate the further north you go the warmer it gets?

Everything else looked great.

So Cassandra had Varric plucked off the street, hmm, found that interesting.

Also, the running cake line, had to laugh.  Just want to say I loved the ship sailing by.  I thought that was great.  I like the environments but finding them kinda smoky looking. 

I'm also happy hearing we will find out alot more lore of the game. This will be a big plus for me.

The thing about her being a Love Interest goes back to the thread where it was pretty strongly hinted at that there would be an female elf companion.
