I dont quite get everones boob obsession - you would think thats all that was on the trailer by some peoples comments! Some women do have body shapes like that naturally, plus Ser Gaider has already said that they look bigger in that screen shot than they actually are. Also I personally dont see that she looks like a child just a different race as she is surposed to be.



The trailer looks amazing and I am very excited (even more so now), and cant wait to play and hopefully hear fem-hawkes and fenris' voices soon - please powers that be, pretty please with cake on top !

I would find it funny if Hawk would only recruit hot girls and just  kick out the other party members despite how strong they were. No elfs, No woman tank..women are mages and rouges only, your hot but your my sister so leave and your chin is not to my likening get out. All men leave.

Don't know if anyone else has pointed this out, but the video uploaded to Gamespot has been altered since I last watched it. At the very end, Gaider is making his closing comments. They replaced a time-lapse shot of a Kirkwall gameplay area with some other panning shots. Now, the obvious question is,

WHAT ARE THE DEVS HIDING FROM US? IS THIS A NEW BUILD OF... THE... TRAILER? WHY IS AVELINE SO... MANNISH?

I was already sold on the game...but holy hell was I glade to see that much game footage!.....except geezus man...female elves look anarexic to the extreame now. If shes a romance then it looks like she sadly won't be touched by me (much like Jack in ME2) because I prefer girls that look like they won't snap in half when theres a light breeze blowing through, call me crazy or whatever but I have never been attracted by skinny girls like that. Pluse holy crap... she looks like a kid!

Whereas a strong woman like Avaline? hellz yea...I'm all over that if possible. If Isabella puts on some pants or something  I might be able to overlook what I consider a serious downgrade in sexiness. I don't like feminine looking girls, Avaline is like a freakin wet dream come true for me man lol.

Male Hawke needs to do that face, Its cool to see Merril back. My warden was Dalash. I wonder if you import a dailish elf warden save file and unlock some extra conversations.

That looks like straight ASS. I'm betting this game will be about 20-30 hours in length. I know the replay value won't match Origins but hopefully there's something there. I fear this is the beginning of the end for Bioware. Such a shame.

This generally looks and sounds great. I'm glad the devs decided to got for a story that would challenge them. They all sound so keen and enthusiastic - they're at the point where they can see their hard work has paid off and it's just delightful.

In terms of footage, my favourite parts were the interrogation of Varric by Cassandra (knife through the book, gasp!) and pretty much everything with Isabela (wowza). The shot of the family and Aveline in the ship was sweet as well.

My two reservations would be on Male Hawke's voice acting (which sounded totally inflectionless - but I'll be playing Lady Hawke so hopefully she's much better) and Merrill's appearance (which, ignoring the breasts, is far too twig-thin pixie-alien for my preference - I really hope female elves aren't being redesigned along these lines, otherwise I'll be miffed on behalf of my City Elf warden - but maybe this was just a bad shot).

If not, should we entirely remove young characters from video games? Or is it merely the combination of a young woman with an above average sized bosom that's outrageous?

I would have kept it to A... I agree the whole child argument is ridiculous but don't expect this sort of insidious accusations to appease tensions.

we have no confirmation but she comes up in the vid when they speak of love interests and talking about the virginal option as opposed to the wild one (cue Isabela wrapping 7 feet of toned legs around Hawke)

To some, possibly. It's an interesting angle they've got in that shot, considering that Merrill is a B-cup at best (if you want to get technical about it). Her outfit is baggy in the front, so it simply looks that way (and it does, I see what you're seeing from that particular shot).

As for her looking tiny, I assume that's also the angle. She's not much smaller than an average human, to be honest. She is thin, though-- all elves have very slender body types (to go back to the art team's intention to give the races more distinct silhouettes).

One assumes that as we release more information, people will get a better impression. It's hard to judge something (particularly a whole race) based on a single screenshot (Carver, anyone?). But in the meantime, it's fun to speculate away. Feel free.
