Mmm I don't mind the snippets we've had so far. The cake line was delivered with a kind of flat, dry deadpan wit I quite liked. Not laugh-out-loud, but not bad.

That's his LINE. Nothing wrong with his LINES. His VOICE is a different matter entirely.

Yes, but you responded to someone talking about his VOICE. You're combining VOICE and LINES/DELIVERY innecessarily. A character doesn't have to be a "gruff idiot." They can be a "gruff wit" or a "nasally idiot."

And what I mentioned I liked was his flat, dry voice contributing to his deadpan delivery rather than it being gruff or nasally or what have you. Delivery is all about voice, not about the lines, I don't know why you're conflating the two.

That's fine, nothing wrong with have voice preferences. I'd just rather you didn't associate gruffness with intelligence.

Looks awesome, I can't wait. Only thing that is worrying me is the framed narrative and how much it will impact my ability to connect to my character. Other than that, looks awesome!!

If it really is Sandal then he MUST be voiced by Yuri Lowenthal not anyone else. So what if it will now remind me of Feron? Feron reminds me of Sandal. And the Witch Hunt edition of Sandal seemed to exude mental retardation instead of autism. Sandal is autistic (I just know it! Plus, I have many relatives of the kind and I love them) and NOT retarded.
