Don't hide under a rock for having a completely rational opinion. I live across the street from a woman who's 4 feet tall. She looks 9, but she's married and has 3 kids. I swear some of these people must never come out of their game dungeons if they haven't seen any small/petite ladies who look MUCH younger than they are. Chris Hansen is not trying to catch anyone playing DA2. Merill's smaller than average size and look has been blown stupefyingly out of proportion. She's an elf, not school girl, it's ok folks, it's ok.

yet the schoolgirl outfit with pigtails would look awesome on her.......

YES!! This vid is awesome. Includes action, cinematics, humor (I especially like humor in mature-rated games). But the next vid must show Hawke's mother mentioning her Mag Warden relation.

Somebody a few pages back had mentioned he sounded like he was reading cue cards or something. I don't know but from the clips we got, he sounded weird. I want him/her to sound like a bad-ass. I mean I'm at least hoping Lady Hawke sounds better.

 Well there was that mention of tone changing over time based off previous choices. So I think Hawke could become more "badass" sounding, or sarcastic, etc. Plus obviously a sarcastic choice would sound somewhat different then a aggressive choice somewhat.

I think that the tone will depend on the response. Witty replies might be delivered in a neutral voice, while the aggressive reply would be the 'badass' voice. Flirty replies would be delivered in a... flirty voice. Etc.

Atleast thats what would make the most sense (to me anyway, myabe not to others).

Something I'm liking a whole lot that hasn't been mentioned much (that I've seen) is companion interaction - we actually see Aveline and Fenris in some sort of conversation, without Hawke anywhere in sight. That's something I'd like to see more of in DA2. Always great when companions are fleshed out outside of their relationship with the PC and given their own moments of glory.

you do not know if hawke was around or not.....but I do agree as long as this is not the DA2 equivalent of ME2's crysis moments

Wow, Hawke's voice acting isn't looking that great right now :\\ I'm sure it'll grow on me though.  At least everything else looks like huge improvements (particularly the LI interactions, that seem much more intimate now).

I can see that. As long as it's done in such a way that doesn't limit people's abilities to roleplay the character, so that one choice doesn't sound like it came from a completely different kind of person than another.

That's just one that took me about 45 seconds to find. If you want to find more examples just skim throught the first 15 pages or so and you'll find dozens of similar statements. I don't know who the hell you think you are, but you're not the forum police, and you're not any kind of authority on anything. Get bent you obsessive freak, and leave me alone.

So it isnt so strange, this was just a short vid. The rest is for later, they feed us piece by piece, just enough so we dont starve. lol
