Wow I cannot wait for this game. Merril is cute as hell!! And isabella is sexy as hell, the more I see of Aveline the more I fall In love with her, I know she is not the most attractive of the bunch but there is just so ethic g about her, her strength, her honesty and sincerity, I want her as a Lu so bay and I would applauded bioware greatly If they made it so, she would be he first non stereotypical li ever In a videogame.

I really hate the voice actor they chose for Hawke. It doesn't fit the character at all. And the character looks... weird. He doesn't even look human. He looks like an elf with a beard. What the hell?

maybe that's because the elves in DA:O looked too much human? I agree about the beard though, the first thing I do is shave that in the character creator. beards are only for dwarfs. (I know, I'm racist). Marril looks like DA2's Tali BTW.

also DAMN you BIOWARE! I saw that video last night and I dreamt of playing DA2 till morning! two months! I can't wait.

I think quite the opposite, she looked horrible in Origins (like a lot of characters). Several posts have been made by devs about Merrill's breast size and look and blah blah blah throughout the Merrill thread. David Gaider has said repeatedly that this clip isn't the best angle - so hopefully we'll see some better shots and/or footage of her in the near future.

  I agree.  I was puzzled by the lack of David Gaider or any reference to David Gaider in part 1.  It was only the executive producer, lead designer, and the art director who got together in 2009 to figure out what they wanted to do for Dragon Age 2?  Seemed odd to me, given BioWare's emphasis on story.

you should do a little bit of research before talking, else you look ignorant, the devs stated that the front of merril´s attire is extra baggy and that gave the impression that she had extra large breasts, when in reality they are quite small.  I don´t mean to sound mean or anything but this subject is getting tiresome since the devs have addressed it multiple times by now.

It's silly that people keep complaining that Hawke's voice isn't "badass" enough. He's not saying a line that could even be remotely considered badass! I think it's very consistent with Origins that Hawke has one-liners like this, he shouldn't be expected to say them like Val Kilmer as Batman. We should wait until we hear him say something that warrants an aggressive tone of voice before we start complaining that he doesn't sound tough enough.

What in the MAKER is wrong with you? It looks a hell of alot like Dragon age: Origins, and since when does art and style come before story and depth in a video game?

To be perfectly honest... I don't even think it looks that stylised or different from Origins. I fail to see what all the outcry about the style is...

I love the new look of the game and I definitely think it doesn't look an "worse" than Origins. If anything it is on par or better in my opinion.

Also, I live in Japan and watch anime on occasion and this game definitely does not look like anime. Maybe you all are arguing that because of the connection with cartoony but anime and Western cartoons are two VERY different styles of art so please keep that in mind because I am getting confused with everyone spouting anime references left and right.

Besides, anime usually has unrealistic body proportions and large eyes for the females, which is not true in what we have seen so far for DA2. Of course this is just from my perspective but I like the way the game looks.

Indeed...it's the same graphics engine...simply updated to make it look better. Not really sure why people think this is so different looking. Looks like Origins 2.0 to me.
