I know nothing about this Merrill, but based on what little they had to say about her, something is telling me that she will be the...er, "Tali" of Dragon Age.

I do wonder if warrior/rogue-Hawke can whine about that too to Bethany.

You mean the Leliana, the Liara, the Tali, and the Dawn Star of Dragon Age II. "Sexy, flirty" LI and "sweet, girl-next-door" LI is very staple for BioWare.

My assumption is that "family" isn't on that page--there's still one more companion in Bethany/Carver, which would make seven companions. Just one short of Origins.

I don't know what's up with that screen capture you got. I look at it and they seem big, too-- trust me, they're not. Must be the particular angle and the way her top works, I don't know.

I just needed to get that out of my system. I rather like her new design otherwise, although I'm going to have to second IrishSpectre257's comment that she could... um, be well received by the Tali fanbase.
