Hence the "arguable" comment. It does make me wonder though if Isabella will have one of those emotionless sex scene type things go down as well as a meaningful romance situation, like Jack.

Jack's my favorite LI, but I see Jack as unstable and misunderstood. I see Isabela as a $lut that cheats on her partner, offers sex for helping her and joins orgies. I'll go with Merril unless they make her act like a 12 year old (like say Tali)

i agree 100% with you thats why my shepard is with jack and my hawke will be with merrill or aveline

With Jack, I see her as someone who NEEDS the paragon romance she can get, but the thing is, my Shepard is not the type to be with her. Plus, its hard for me to truly like Jack.

I can't judge the other characters in DA2 so much. Going from what I know about Isabella so far, I think I'll give her a shot.

I doubt Merrill will be an option, but I don't honestly know why I get that vibe from her.

Maybe its because she looks like the little sister type character, I don't know.

Aveline is someone I can't comment on, but I don't think she'll be someone Mike Hawke will mess around with(that was so intentional).

We'll see as time goes on. I want 10 some odd squaddies rather than six, but what are you gonna do, eh?

Glad his official armor is mage equipment.

Does anybody know what classes Hawke are in this video? I've seen videos of him using a sword like in the trailers, but also using the fire attack in the Destiny trailer. What class is that?

For this reason I might play Warrior my first time through. Because I don't think I can wait very long to get his 'signature' mage armor which is not a dress.

Knowing Bioware they are already working on ideas and story of the third one before DAII even comes out. They did a similar thing before Origins came out when they were working on DAII. I wouldn't be surprised.

This may have been mentioned before and if so I apologize, but does anyone else notice that at the beginning of this video after Mark Darrah starts talking there is a scene of the book that Varric is looking at and on the right you see a hexagon with six characters inside it: these portraits are of the companions and I can already decipher Isabela, Varric, Fenris, and Aveline in there. The other two portraits are of an elf female and a human male by the looks of them.

What you do speculate? I am guessing Anders and Merrill. The clothes of both these characters look vaguely mage-like.

I suppose it depends on when the framed narrative stops.

But with what we know so far of 'The world being on the brink of war' and Cassandra is looking for the one person who can apparently help fix it, perhaps besides the main arc of DA2 being the telling of how Hawke got to be the Champion but maybe there is an underlying story indicating how the world could be on the brink of war, then that could lead nicely into DA3 no matter what choices we make. So am quite sure Gaider and co already have started writing up on where the story would lead as far as Thedas is concerned.
