Anywho, for some reason Isabela's voice reminds me of Miranda. Though I believe it was said that Isabela's voice actor hadn't worked for Bioware previously, correct?

Its not the height, my Mum's tiny. Its a combination of facial features (eyes), her feyness and ... I suppose heigt to an extent <_< but given how young she looks ... the disturbing element of Girl Next Door romance really comes to the fore.Eclipse_9990 wrote...

But did any of them look about twelve? The fact that she's a romance I find really disturbing.Saibh wrote...

I know nothing about this Merrill, but based on what little they had to say about her, something is telling me that she will be the...er, "Tali" of Dragon Age.
Also, great video. Can't wait for this game.
You mean the Leliana, the Liara, the Tali, and the Dawn Star of Dragon Age II. "Sexy, flirty" LI and "sweet, girl-next-door" LI is very staple for BioWare.
You've never seen a petite woman?
Implications ... unpleasant.
*Shrugs* Whatever.. People are gonna like what their gonna like..
She does look young.. I'd say like... Maybe 16 or 17ish... But considering I just turned 20 I really don't give a crap..

I admit I went too far with the E.T. comparison. Her redesign makes her look like a child, and I find that a little offputting.Sheryl Chee wrote...
Oh, has the obsessive picking apart of female character appearances started already? How nice.

I'm not going to argue with a fine-tuned-to-my-taste game that's for sure. March 8th is going to be aweeesomeeeee.

I really liked Hawke's voice, actually.
This.
Though it was pretty good, as was Carvers.

Also, the whole "yay you just gruesomely exploded a guy from the inside" celebration felt a little bawbaric.

The VO felt a bit flat, or maybe it was just the face animations. But it didn't feel right.

In the immortal words of the Warden, I like a little bloodthirst.

Overall, I dig the new info. March will be a busy, busy month indeed.
(Also, Lucky for Varric that Cassandra's aim wasn't too true

Do I think Merril looks cute? Yes.
But it's more kitten cute/young child cute i.e. non sexual.
I'm not disturbed by the way she looks. It's the fact she's romanceable.

I think it was a skip there. For one, Hawke has a different armor in the celebration, and what looks like a stylized handle for a 2H sword or a different staff at least.

How is this possible? Hawke's VA is worse than male Shepard!!!
I might actually play a female Hawke, despite the fact that I generally play male characters in video games...Unless herr VA is of comparable quality.

Every time you state your opinion as fact, God kills a kitten. Do keep that in mind.

Yeah, I... I dunno. It's not just the cantalopues, but the sickly pale face, goat ears, bug eyes and the fact that elven women actually shrunk from what I already considered teeny tiny proportions in Origins.Satirewire wrote...
Man Hawke sounds like Charlton Heston to me, suppose that's not a bad thing so long as he doesn't start parting seas. And I have to agree with Addai67, Merrill does looks quite like a martian, and a tween martian who can't tell when to stop stuffing apparently. Not loving the super smooth faces and every female with melons on her chest thing either. Also disappointing that they showed a few conversations of only two options there. When talking about romance there should be more options than yes or no, where was the totally inappropriate or snarky comment choices that were so fun in Origins? Bleh, not going to cancel my preorders of this game, but I can't say I'm too stoked for the way things are looking. I am really hoping to be utterly surprised and blown away by an awesome game when I finally play this.
I was very attached to my Dalish Wardens, but like I said, I'm suddenly glad I'm not playing them anymore. It does make Fenris look better in comparison. Silver lining.
I don't have audio atm so can't comment on anything but the visuals.
