I thought "Pariah" was just being used in its definition to describe Merrill, that is an "outcast." Nathaniel was also described as being a pariah. A specialization...? I think she's just a blood mage...
Or am I just slow?

They reveal a new companion every month. This month it will be Merrill followed by the last companion, human guy.

If they do that, then it pretty much guarantees that it's Anders.ViSeirA wrote...

I think the last one will remain anonymous.. ala Garrus in ME2.
That's what I'm thinking.Atakuma wrote...

In the encounter with her clan, Velanna also says that she's with humans, even if your party is entirely made up of elves and dwarves. LOLFace of Evil wrote...
The only thing that annoyed me in Awakening was when Sigrun mentioned to Velanna that she was "the first elf I've ever known." Uh, did you miss the pointy ears there, Sigrun?

That could go against several Awakening end slides.

Well, like isn't Isabela's specialization "swashbuckler"? So I'm guessing it's like that, where it's something specific to Merrill rather than a spec that the PC can also take.RinjiRenee wrote...

My post was pretty blunt. what I should have said is that they can easily just handwave away any reason he wouldn't show up, like they did with Oghren in Awakening.Nerevar-as wrote...

If they were the ME2 team I would agree with you (Garrus was likely turned into Archangel due to his popularity), but here I think they have a plan with the characters.
Of course, they could have Anders still as a GW who is with the Free Marches Wardens.

So even the petite elf who's supposed to be the "virgin girl next door" has melons the size of her head? The lead character designer must looove him some boobies.
I eagerly await an actual introduction of Merrill, so people can see her from another angle and can just get the hell over this obsessive notion that she has giant breasts. She does not.
