Yeah I know! It's just the way I edited my post (and I knew this when I did the edit), was rather confusing as to what I had realised was true about vallaslin. And to what was false.

BTW, I was looking at the codex in-game as the Dalish Elf when I created the initial post, so that helped form my view on vallaslin.

As it is now each Valashin doesn't represent a specific god. At least not in the way you explained it.  
For example Varathorn (Master Craftsman) have the same tatoo as Fenarel (A hunter) and Lenaya (the Keeper's first).

I don't believe you could make a Dalish Warden without a tattoo (at least not without resorting to a mod). In my experience the default tattoo was added retroactively, even if you constructed a face without one.

I agree!

I have no idea why you wouldn't create a Dalish Elf with a tattoo. Especially since most city elves don't have tats. So you'd basically be a city elf whose lived with the Dalish for most of your life. <_< It'd be kinda fail.

Do you have corn that grows on your ear? I'd probably nibble on it if that were the case.

I edited my post to clarify that I don't want any of this "custey" stuff. Though that's mostly my attitude towards most of the thread and it's wanting of an innocent virgin elf that will sleep and bear Hawke many children. (not targeted to anybody in specific, just some attitudes in the thread)
