I do think she looks like a Martian, but looks aren't everything.   For instance your avatar-  I'm sure your Warden is still worthy of love.  lol

There were complains like "Female elves in DA2 so thin! While male elves look the same as DAO ones!". I said that we cannot judge until we see some full body picture of DA2 male elf.



So here is DA2 to DAO male elf comparison. They are definitely not the same.

DA2 male elf share thin, long, body, thine shoulders and long neck with DA2 female elf. As it should be within the same species.

I agree completely...I don't see anything wrong with how the elves look in DA 2 as opposed to what they did in DA: O. It was very hard to tell a female elf from a human female unless they were standing next to each other...especially when they had long hair that went over their ears...

To be fair, most of the releases aren't from bioware..the only that is, is the 'choose the champion' video which Chris has stickied... so, maybe in the next couple of days before the demo run by the devs...they will give her the official reveal.

Well maybe Merrill and all the unused companions will be in Mike's party on the 11th He said he'd consider having Lady Hawke, maybe he could use Anders/Merrill/Fenris as a party? Cause I personally saw enough of Isabela and Varric. Not that they are not good, but i want to see the rest!

New elven design is so regal and interesting that I cant look at DAO ones anymore .



And judging by the latests videos elven males are slightly higher than human females.

That makes me sad once again that I cant play an elf in DA2...and that it not even possible to make DA2 styled elf character in DAO.



Now my only wish is to see how Zevran and Valanna look in new style.

Yeah I'd definitely would like one of these trailers/previews or Laidlaw's event Friday to show more of Merrill, Anders, and Fenris as these characters haven't been shown too much yet.

Yeah, they do look more distinctive, but they would have been even more distinguishable if they had kept the elf height close to the original. I assume BioWare wanted the dwarves to look more dwarfed by separating the race, closest to them in height, taller. But as I was saying, I think the male elf should still be shorter than the female human.

Poor Merrill, they revealed the returning companion, before her. You'd think a returning companion would be revealed after, all the new companions. Guess they felt Anders more important than our precious girl next door.

Let's presume that she is a love interest, what do you think straight only or also lesbian ?



In some preview they said that she is shocked by the broader world, and being so shielded, that she also stumbles socially even in purely elven surroundings. Her "innocence" being the argument, we may find her more probable to trying all what the world offers, including FemHawke.
