Are they doing more then one bi LI? I have a feeling that it will be Isabella for both sexes, and Merrill will be straight.

I think Isabela has already been confirmed for both sexes. I forgot where I read this, but I wasn't paying much attention. That's what I get for multitasking.

I'd be surprised if Anders wasn't bi too, he always gave off that vibe in my opinion - assuming he's a LI at all that is.

On one hand, Merrill could be socially awkward, because of her interests, but on the other hand, Thedas is pretty loose. The Pearl, Zev, Leli, and Izzy are good examples. I don't think (even w/o that info at hand) Merrill will be concerned about that.

My guess is straight.

In some preview they said that she is shocked by the broader world, and being so shielded, that she also stumbles socially even in purely elven surroundings. Her "innocence" being the argument, we may find her more probable to trying all what the world offers, including FemHawke.

Possibly... but I wouldn't bank on it. I hope she's not bisexual. She might be, but I hope not.

All in all, now Anders seems more interesting than in Awakenings, but still...

I was thinking the same thing, she looks thinner then humans, but really tall.

I believe Merrill was part of the way down a hill, and the other characters were further up when we saw that clip - which would explain why she looked smaller than she is.

It's because her base line is closest to Varric's, and Varric is a dwarf, which we knows is a lot shorter than elves like Merrill, now. Carver being a human, and being much further away, looks smaller in comparison to her.

So basically she has no one whose taller, close enough to make her look short. Only a person a lot shorter, is nearby to compare.
