If it were me... i would have saved a warrior for 'warrior' week, a rogue for 'rogue'week...and finished up with a mage( in this case , I think they are in Merrill) for 'mage' week.

Yeah, it sounds better what you said. But maybe the whole "warrior week" is only related to the update of the warrior class. Though I hope that today they'll give some more info about the class.

That's how I think they are approaching the classes with each successive week....and when we get to say...3/1 or maybe the weekend before release...they will probadly release the 'release' trailer for the game. That's how it worked for ME 2...I still remember watching adult swim that saturday night then seeing the ME 2 trailer pop on my screen. I damnnear went to the store that very night n bough the game...LOL.

Assuming you can romance Merrill - of which there is no doubt in my mind - I think I will take the friendship/rivalry option depending on what kind of person she is. The opposite kind. For example: if she's meek and nice, then my Hawke will be shoutie and mean.

Yeah I think Merrill and my ruthless Hawke could make a cute couple.

Define "confirmed".

If by it you mean:

[1] A dev came up and exactly said "Merrill is a permanat companion" then your answer is: NO.
[2] She got an official reveal at the website then your answer is: NO.
[3] Pretty much every preview out there talks about her like a companion and we saw her with Hawke in the party then your answer is: YES.

Take your pick :innocent:

The Keepers of the Dalish are the masters of ancient lore and guardians of old secrets. As First, Merrill has been a student of Dalish lore and magic all her life. She can recite all of known elven history and navigate the Fade… but has very little experience with the world or even her own people. She has always held a respected place within her clan, but an isolating one – being Keeper Marethari’s heir kept her just slightly apart from the others.  Forced to flee north to escape from the Blight ravaging Ferelden, Merrill finds her clan in a foreign land, trapped between a bustling city full of humans and a haunted wilderness, and must find help for her people. Whatever the cost.
