Concept looks more like an action figure or a doll than interesting art. And what a line is that? "Keepers must remember"? Aveline is a defender warrior so she has "Defend the stuff" line? What's next, "Keeper must keep"?

Probably but it never stopped my Dalish Wardens from corrupting the Chantry boy. 

LOL, that's awesome you get to play that out again in DA2. It's why I was hoping to repeat the Alistair/dwarf dynamic with Hawke/Varric ("Am I too tall for you, Varric?" "Don't be ridicilous!"), but no big deal if that doesn't happen. Always a small hope we can play dwarves again and have a dwarf romance then!

Hehe.  It will feel differently playing a male character.  I was more sensitive to my male Warden being a jerk than I was about my female Wardens.  I didn't like the roll in the hay with Iona, for instance- felt icky.  As long as the cultural divide is acknowledged well in the writing, which I'm sure it will be, it'll be interesting to play it out.

I'm still hoping for a shot at Varric, too!  I think it would be very interesting to hear him telling Cassandra about his own exploits with Hawke.  Start boasting and then get tongue tied or something like that.

Nice "official" reveal of Merrill. I hope they release more artwork of her, especially in-game assets. Didn't companion in DA:O get a short video featuring them? I wonder why the DA2 companions aren't getting the same treatment?



Anyways, I'm interested in seeing how my Dalish Warden's actions in DA:O will affect Merrill's DA2 story. I at least hope she'll mention that she's from the same clan as the heroic Warden Commander of Ferelden.
