I might have to talk to her again just to see what she says because I remember she said the clan was afraid to come in to town but the keeper will be excited for what you did for the clans so it will be intresting lol (I love the dalish)

I forgot about her.  Maybe they fled north, returned to Ferelden, then moved back up by Kirkwall?  But then supposedly Flemmeth knows they will be there by Kirkwall going by the delivery thing.

Maybe the clan split into two for some reason?  (I'm starting to grasp at straws now )

They Probably did this so that no matter what hairstyle they have their ears pop out of it, clear to see. It helps make them more different than humans, since their ears are pretty much the main things setting them apart and therefore must be highlighted.

Has anyone posted the Game Informer stuff yet? I didn't see it, but pardon if I'm repeating. Also, spoilers. Well, a non-spoiler tidbit is that Merrill is described as "awkward."

SPOILERS AHOY




Hawke is given the amulet from Flemeth. When you get to Kirkwall, you can't get into the city right away and have to live on the outskirts. You're hired out as a mercenary to pay your entrance into the city. While you're out there, you can do the quest to Sundermount which is where you find the Dalish clan. Showing the amulet to the guards, you're taken to Marethari. She tells you to use the amulet to perform a ritual. Merrill is sent with you to do the ritual on an altar on the top of the mountain. The ritual unleashes a "dark secret" that is a major plot twist in the game. For some reason that is left a mystery, rather than return to the clan, Merrill accompanies you to Kirkwall.

Well, if you're a Dalish and you sided with the Elves (or did the neutral deal which is still considered siding with them), then when you speak to the Dalish Messenger now standing around in Zathrian's camp he'll tell you he is going north to try and get a hold of your clan to come help with the effort.  He'll ask if you want to send any message with him, and you can either opt not to, have him tell them you miss them, or that you're looking forward to fighting beside them.  Though at the end in the Throne room if you survive the Archdemon, Ashalle will still say that the rest of the Clan couldn't make it being so far and you can opt to go with her to visit them.  So I gather they are still up that way.

I know it's been said before but while highly unlikely part of me will always wish Merrill will be romancable by Lady Hawke..
But just like my wish for Tali to be romancable by FemShepard it'll probably never happen...

So Flemeth gives Marethari an enchanted amulet that  young and talented "outsider" mage elf uses.... and then after it's used Merrill doesn't want to return to the clan again but would rather help Hawke?  

I certainly hope the experience wasn't that character changing to Merrill.  It would be horrible to find out that Merrill suddenly wasn't "herself"

Yea Anders is already possessed by a demon, so I don't think Merrill will be. That would make their characters to similar. At least I hope that doesn't happen, otherwise Flemeth is going to get destroyed again.
