The quote just really interests me as someone who absolutely adored Luna's actor in the recent Harry Potter films.

thanks orian tabris. Well looking at the 'nature' spells we have available im guessing the creation school, primal web (lightning and earth) and elemental (fire and ice) are nature orientated.

Though i do remember velanna had fire, earth and entropy spells when i got her on awakening

She is still the keeper's apprentice in Dragon Age II, but is forced to leave the group for mysterious reasons. Whatever it is, it doesn't seem good.

Merrill is a companion in Dragon Age II.

I'm speculating, but the Merrill pic seems to lack some texture and detail compered to the DAO one, possibly this is an old pic from earlier in development. Even in the first picture we saw weeks ago her ears had more deapth and detail than in this one.

I'm glad she's a romance option, but I can't shake the feeling that the only real outcome for a romance is something tragic.

I was thinking of that myself. I really hope that isnt the case though.

Tragic outcome, no. A sad outcome, howewer, it's not that bad. Though it will be the second female mage romance who ended in a sad way.

I dont know, the variables that made Morrigans ending were pretty well exclusive to Morrigan and the situation of her and the Warden.

Besides, there probably is a possible bad ending for Merrill, with that said I'd presume there's a good one too. I just depends on if you actually try to help her or not.

If they decide to make another game like Awakening, I think they will probably resolve all the romance options, that reach point in Hawke's story (depending on how we handle them). So whatever happens at the end of DA2, may not necessarily be the absolute, resolution. Maybe keep that in mind.

I don't think they'd really toss relationships to the wind like that, from what I remember they didn't even do that in Awakening, going so far as to have letters and even cameos from your love interest appear.

I know all the relationships had some kind of ending in DAO. I was thinking about Alisitair's romance with a human noble, suggesting they might do that for all romances.

What kind of endings are you talking about exactly? The epilogue?

Shaders don't show if the light comes from a certain viewpoint.

I am definitely not attracted to Merril. Isabella is a different story however. Hopefully they dont give Merril the more attractive personality and make Isabella a ****. Isabella is exactly my type, looks wise.

I'll be around...sorta..only just lurking as I usually am...but for the most part, I'll be paying attention to the game itself. The reason, I'll be around is because I could care less about the spoilers and such...hencing why there will be NO blackout period for me before release.
