Isabela: I'm back!
Merrill: Did he notice? Did you see them?
Isabela: Please, of course he didn't notice. Smooth as a baby's and pale too.
Merrill: Perfect. 'Gently parted his milky-white buttock.'[/quote]

My keyboard is sooo glad i wasn't drinking anything while reading that.

She's reading all the romance novels Varric publishes.

Yeah, the Varric thread is having fun with Varric's publishing company. He writes steamy romance novels about himself and other members of the party. You should see his latest! It's quite steamy. Probably too much for sweet, innocent, adorable Merrill.
Oh Merrill, so underexposed.

I have it on good authority that the latest book gave Merrill "the vapors" just thinking about reading it.

I like the way there are other books spread out on the bed, including one she has left open. Something interesting on that page was there Merrill?
She put it down to flip through Carved in Stone and got hooked on the slash.
Next thing you know, a ff.net account with alternating caps and xXxXx at the beginning and end of her username.

They had a basin with a magical dweomer that replenished itself when you used its water

Well I presume she's reading slash about Varric and Carver, seeing as that's themon the cover.

Or Fenris phasing his head in through the wall in order to see what she's reading.
"What are you reading?" he asks curiously.
She yelps "Nothing!" before slamming the book shut and throws it across the room.
(I'm new to these forums, and i can't decide if i like the possibility of Fenris Merrill or Merrill and Hawke:wub:.)

Merrill's response: "Oh, Blessed Creators! This is the only time I get to read and you damn well know it!"
Hawke: "Maybe I should have stuck it out with Isabella..."
Merrill: "I heard that!" [Turns the up the Wisp Light]

In west Ferelden, born and raised,
in the forests is where I spent most of my days...
Screw it, I'm doing the whole song.
Chillin out, maxin, ralaxin, all cool,
and all shootin sum Halla outside of the training,
when a couple of shems, who were u to no good,
started making trouble in my Clan's hood.
I got in one little fight and my Keeper got scared and said
"You're moving with this guy named Hawke to Kirkwall"
I whistled for the dude and when he came near,
He had a beard on his face and was Nutella smeared.
If anything, I could say that this shem was rare,
but I thought, could be worse, "Yo holmes, to Kirkwall!"
I pulled up to the city, rebellion a stirring,
and I yelled to Hawke, "Go home, I'll see you later!"
Looked around the place, I was finally there,
to take up my staff, now I'm the Keeper of Kirkwall
THIS. Haha I totally sang it.
Here's the link to the original song that I sang it to:

I don't usually do fanart before I've even played a game, since I'm liable to get personality completely wrong, but I adore Merril's armour in her concept art image so I just couldn't help myself XD
Oh mah goodness. I didn't especially like her at all before, but after seeing this picture, I'm liking her more and more. This is so beautiful/awesome!!
