Spirit would be fun on her too, seeing as that has walking bomb.

I guess since Bethany doesn't have Primal then Merrill and/or Anders will, or at least one of them (hoping it's Merrill), Stagger with my warrior and chain lightning will be massive damage, also I'd like to have Spirit as well, if she's indeed lacking Creation it doesn't look very bad now, heal has a 40s cooldown lol.

Yeah, no more heal spamming now so you might as well in guns a blazing.

I think Anders will have Spirit healer which is pretty demanding. When you use healing aura to use a spirit healing spell you can't do special attack while it's active.

I just keep picturing Merrill as this petite, cute, incredibly destructive mage.

I prefer this older and more experienced looking Merril to the sickly looking innocent child we have now
I say sickly because she seems really skinny. I assume her personality will be all sweet and innocent like a scared girl but on the battlefield... BOOOOOM!!

(Whistles) Wow, now I understand why one of the Devs mentioned the observations that Merril's original look was deemed "Too Sexy" for the kind of character she was supposed to be. She's basically wearing only a smock and a belt. It couldn't even be classified as a robe. She gives Isabela a run for her money. Not that I would have complained in the slightest had they gone this route. Still, her present look in the game is damn near perfect. (Looks at Calender) Come on, on come...

Yeah, I've seen that mentioned elsewhere. Still, I'm glad Mary took her in the direction she did in the end; I'd much rather have someone who is irrently good, but with a dark spark in them, then someone who's wearing said darkness all over thier face. We've already had the "dark, brooding" female companion, she was named Morrigan, and Viconia before her. Merril seems as though she just might be the best of both worlds, like Aerie mixed with some Dark Side Bastila. I love it.

My lock screen is when we meet Merrill (First time we see her in DA2) and my main theme for my ipod is Merrill's romance picture (Just her, not hawke)

THats how crazy I am for merrill, taking away my gf's pic for a videogame character.. Im so proud of myself

I feel like both LI's... well the female companion's Isabella and Merrill really kind of have a deeper character than Morrigan and Lelianna did. Now don't hate me yet, just roll with me for a second!

Basically what I mean is that in Origins Lelianna was the "Good" LI and Morrigan was the "Evil" LI. Not to say that Morrigan was mwahaha evil, but that you sure as heck had a hard time romancing her if you wanted to save kitties. As with Lelianna if you got the least bit cynical things could kinda blow up in your face. 

Merrill and Isabella, I don't know... they seem a bit more realistic to me, mostly in the way that neither is clearly defined evil or good. Sure one might get around more than the other, but that's really the only huge difference.

Scary, not hot. If anything, she's really ugly in that concept art. I was honestly apalled when I saw her.

What does a Welsh accent sound like? Is it like an Anora accent? or an Alistair accent? Or a Daveth accent? Forgive my ignorance, i don't know what parts of Britain have these accents.

Just trying to get a grasp on what she will sound like.

Well, someone WILL show you a link to Merrill's voice actor/a welsh accent. I am 100% sure of that .

Welsh people a part of the UK, rather than of Britain, from Wales. They don't sound anything like Anora or Alistair, but maybe a little like Daveth. Sort of like an irish accent crossed with a Scottish accent.

EDIT: The way she looks now is pretty much an updated (in terms of the graphics) of what she used to look like, only paler.
