Hmm... well they're all locked so I'm not sure if that really tells us what she can do per say. I mean we know she can use Entropy from that screen shot posted a few days ago, but even that's locked, along with her specialization.

I see what your saying...she does infact lack the creation tree to Bethany lacking the primal tree( and probadly Anders lacking the entropy tree if we had to guess). Which is basically what we all guessed here...okay, this settles it...Merrill will be my pure DPS mage...while Bethany will heal, buff, and do some damage.

So yeah, there's some new info. Merrill will gladly terrorize, paralyze, burn, explode, freeze, impale, electrocute, and crush anyone who messess with Hawke.

She can't heal, but maybe she has band-aids in her pack.

Good thing too, because I don't know if Willpower ≤ 100 would allow me to resist the temptation!

/adopts all 124 Willpower from most recent Circle Mage save game

Good thing too, because I don't know if Willpower ≤ 100 would allow me to resist the temptation!

It is, I looked at that too, and posted a pic in the Anders thread.

I figured that would be the case... I will deal with his build when I get the game, and do my mage playthrough...

I looked and honestly didn't raise my anxiety levels. Even if I didn't, I would've seen that same image and have been able to plan how Merrill was going to be working in my party.

Come to think of it, I wonder if Morrigan did and/or Merrill will use any special tricks during their most passionate moments...-->-->-->[Realizes that they might not have]--><_<-->[Who cares?]-->

How did you find those trees in the demo?

You can pull party members (sort of) into your party using console commands. Anders has a model but Merrill (and other people) doesn't.

Check this out if you want to do it yourself

Also for you guys who haven't tried this yet, here's her tree's description:

"Merrill has never quite felt like she's fit in, and her choices have only furthered the gap between her and her people."

What kind of choices are these? we'll have to either play the game or guess, my guess is: Blood Magic

Not sure if I bring any news, but one guy (who's administrating one of the Russian gamers forums) says that he already played three or four chapters of DA2 and he  saw that Merrill can be romanced by a female Hawke. He also gives a screenshot oh her lovescen. Hm.
