Yeah about that, she looks like she's wearing a necklace in that pic, "à la DAO", while she doesn't have one in the screenshot they chose for the romances reveal....

Or maybe I'm seeing things or the angle is weird...

I don't mean that she's possibly wearing a necklace, her face/neck is clearly a different color than her body. Also, the neck base where the color shades meet seems like it was suspicously cut at that point and the head and neck were then pasted on.

Well, I saw my Hawke's neck flying cut off the shoulders a few times in the demo. It may be the same thing here   But it still looks fake to me. Damn, I hoped someone would prove it true or fake until now. But I came back home and all I saw was this discussion again.

That's true, but there were a few times in Origins where the skins didn't match either.

Not saying that it's real but... gah, I just don't know.

I'm still telling myself it's fake just to be safe...

quests that say the conspirators from Awakening kidnapped Merrill and that she has some quests related to a mirror. NO ONE KIDNAPS MY MERRILL AND LIVES!! Those conspirators got owned by my Warden and will get owned by Hawke

I would agree. It seems some really enjoy getting to know the whole story of the game from some scripts in the demo, but I don't think we need that here.

It's getting more and more interesting with that possible FHawke&Merrill romance, because the man who was talking about it is a respected one. He wrote a few reviews, and I don't think he would sacrifice his reputation just for making fun of us with a fake screenshot
But he also says that all party members except Varric and brother\\sister have romantic options, which can't be truth because devs told us: only Merrill, Fenris, Anders and Isabela are opened to romance. So maybe, just maybe, he picked this screenshot on some other site, saw flirtation icon in Merrill's dialogue (which wouldn't lead to any romance though) and thought: aha! she's a romance option for female Hawke!

Anyway, while there are only 4 love interests the developers have confirmed that all of them have flirt options. Whether or not you get anywhere though is where it ends.

This can be result of bugged/inaccurate texturing for the underwear model. The skin tone of character is determined amongst other things by brightness of one of channels of "tint map" texture, and if that channel doesn't contain correct value there will be visible mismatch between skin tone of the face and affected parts of the body.

That's not to say it's genuine picture for sure, but it's easy enough explanation for at least that one issue.
