Forcing a female Hawke model into a scene made for a male Hawke won't change the dialogue or anything really.

If you're forcing a female model into a scene file designed for a male Hawke, obviously the dialogue won't change.

The console commands are fine, but  we would all appreciate if you could recreate the scenes in question.  I'm also curious how you have a functional, unlocked and activated version of the full game to experiment with.  Merrill's character model is not present on the demo version of the game.  If you command force her into the demo, you will end up with an invisible character.

Being able to force a female Hawke into a scene from the demo files for a male Hawke doesn't prove anything. It certainly wouldn't change dialogue. At most you would get the characters meshing together oddly.

And everyone, if he had the full game, he would be playing it right now instead of dealing with us.

Exactly.  But, unless you are one of a relatively small number of reviewers, there's no way to have the game.  If you have acquired the game some other way- say it fell through a temporal anomaly- you still have to activate it via the Bioware servers which will only recognize it after the release date.  Even if you could somehow get access to the romance scene from the demo, which nobody else has been able to do, it is confirmed that there is definitely no Merrill character model to place in the scene with either Hawke, of Manny Man or Lady variety.

I call shens on the poster having access to this scene via Seven Sacred in-game commands.  But, we will wait on their screenshots and find out for certain.

Until then, I maintain the current Merrill screenshots are gospel.

That I do not know, but I'm guessing not.  It would be a pretty handy backdoor for people pirating and accessing the game, which is the whole point of the server activation.

If he did have the full game and entered its files, why wouldn't he just tell us that there are no f/f romance files with Merrill? It would be a lot simpler than going on about CC.

My desire for proof stems from wanting to get the disappointment of ManHawke-only Merrill out of the way now, rather than later.  I still believe, and certainly hope, she is a bi LI, but It would be unfortunate to discover otherwise a week from now.  The images have been suspect for a variety of reasons, but at this point everyone seems on-board that they are kosher.  Now comes the assertations that the pics represent content that is forced by commands or cut from the final game.  I don't buy it, but it is plausible, and if someone has proof I would very much like to see it. 

In truth, I am of the opinion it's bluster and highly unlikely that someone who isn't a professional game reviewer or the world's most epic-level modder could have access to that kind of content.

If we get disapointed now, then getting the game itself will cheer us up. If we're disapointed 20+ hours into the game, that's gonna hurt.

Also, I'm very unsure of just how these screens were apparantly created using the console. Seems fishy to me.

There are a lot of reasons to believe his claim is false... Not that there's no possibility he could be telling the truth and is right.
