I enjoyed Ploppy's little video. Merrill's does have a sweet voice. She's not bad looking but I would have preferred an elf that look like Katriel as described in David Gaider's prequels to DAO "DA The Stolen Throne" and "DA The Calling." I my humble opinion, both female romance interests in DA 2, Isabella and Merrill are not unfortunately, as pretty as DAO's Morrigan and Leliana.

We're sad together at least.

I loved Torchwood already, I jumped for joy and shrieked like a little girl when I found out she was doing the VA for Merrill.

Now I just need to decide whether to play as ManHawke or FemHawke to romance her first (because she IS bi, of course)

I suspect that the old guys won't be dead. Assumming some of the clan didn't die on their journey to Kirkwall/the Free Marches. I'm pretty sure you get Merrill early on in the game, like in the first year since you meet Flemeth at the start of the game, and she gives you a quest we know is a of the main quest. I hope they don't skimp on the amount of named elves from the Dalish Origin - i.e. the ones that were named in the aforementioned origin story, appear in DAII.

She's adorable! When she thanked Hawke at the end of the quest, my heart melted. I rarely romance females in Bioware games, but I might have to make an exception for this one.
