I'd just like to echo the requests of links to Merrill-specific parts of the livestream, or when she appears. If they're available, anyway. I'm trying to avoid too many spoilers and am only following a few topics. I just want to hear a bit of Merrill in game; I don't want to find out about the other stuff yet.

Kinda predictable anyway i guess.

Merrill's voice! Finally. Sounds lovely, as expected. And so sad when she's shunned by the other elves. Very soulful performance, kudos to Ms Myles.

Also, she has beautiful eyes. They look kinda uncanny-valleyish on the other elves, whereas they work perfectly on her.

But the guy who played was a bit of an ass to her though :/



EDIT For the people who are tempted to watch the ritual: I regret doing so. Would have been really big OMG moment in the game and has hints about the past and future events.

from the clip Merill seems a really nicely done character. Bit jarring hearing her speak with a Welsh accent when the rest of the Dalish seem to be Irish though!

I watched a part of that livestream very briefly just to hear Merrill talk. It's lovely to hear the Welsh accent not so... 
caricatured. I didn't even realise there was an accent at first because it sounded so natural and familiar to me. I think I'll feel right at home with the Dalish.

Her voice... It beautiful. She's beautiful. I don't know what I love more, her voice or her crazy-big-Jayma-Mays-who's-also-oh-so-sexy eyes!!! She's the most adorable thing in the history of ever. I want a little pocket sized Merrill to carry around with me! The mean ol' Hawke deserves a right punching for being mean about her spellcasting. It's not her fault the ignorant human pig.
