Dude, if there is one thing in a Bioware game that I will never be worried about, it's having well written characters.  Especially with this writing team. 

I can't wait to romance Merrill.  I hope we get to learn about her background before the Dalish Elf Origin in DAO.

Um...how do you plan to do that, when we can't carry our characters across the games?

You can still import your saves from DA:O and have your decitions in the first game carry over into DA:2 though it prolly doesn't have any big effect.

What the superdarkone hopes for is that Merrill will have special dialogue if a save file with a dalish warden is importet.

Yes, I'm well aware.  I'm in the middle of a very fast run through for "my canocical" gamesave to import.  But what he said indicates he was under th eimpression he can actually pot his Warden over, as a player character, which BW made very clear, right from the start, is not possible.

If I've misunderstood, fine.  But better he know now, rather then discover that he cannot play as the Hero of Ferelden during his attempt to port the character.

I know, this theme is MUCH better than the first game's. The underwear dance didn't need some random woman sing gibberish which made me laugh. At least this sounds like a love theme and if the leaked Merrill pictures are any indication, her romance scene is going to be cute and hot

I've known that for months. Look at my sig. I even founded the Garrett Hawke Fanclub. I was disappointed about no warden being in Dragon Age 2 but I've gotten over it. Now I wonder what she'll say to Hawke about her friend killing the archdemon or even about the foursome he had with Isabella

They have confirmed that there will be "Hot up against the wall--" and "Virginal girl next dorr--" stuff, but i really hope this shows.
I like romance stuff in these games mostly because of the fictional relationhip i imagine the characters having and quite frankly i think that a scene between two who love each other should as tender and soft as possible - especially with little fragile Merrill

To be honest, I think that the looks she looks alot better in origins then she does in DA2.
I dont realy like that she has become somewhat smaller? She looks alot more frail and scared then in Origins. Wich i dont fancy :<

I think it's the blush and eye liner that makes Merrill's face look so good, at least in this screenshot. She didn't seem to have before.
