Ugh, okay. As someone who absolutely abhored Eve Myles' character on Torchwood, I thought I would be unable to disassociate Gwen with Eve's voice. Luckily that doesn't seem to be the case, so I am pleased. I like Welsh accents, lovely rolled r's~

Off topic, but I just caught my first episode of Torchwood last night.

Interesting show, and the Gwen character happened to be the focus of the episode :happy:

Great, it was bad enough in DAO when the City and Dalish Elves would sneer at me (or in Awakening when they'd sneer at Velanna). But now, now I'm gotta see their new faces be 1.65x more sneery.

I think you're referring more to the timidity in Merrill's voice (an aspect of her personality), not the actress's line delivery. Eve Myles is a great actress. I might be a little biased, though (as you can tell, I love Merrill ).

The timid aspect isn't a problem rather it's Myles switching at random times.  Look at her intro, she has a deeper voice initially then switches over to the normal timid voice.  She's not consistent and it's very obvious at certain points.  Also in certain sections she raises the volume of her voice when there is no reason to do so, like at one point she says, "No" in a loud excited tone when there is no reason to do so.  So yes it's Myles line delivery.

That's the sad thing about Wiki's, anyone can edit them.

True, the statements lacks a official confirmation. I, along with a bunch others i pressume, also try not to beleive it too hard. The evidence for it seems thick, yet i personally hesitate beleiving it, I might just yet get disapointed if i all turns out to be nothing after all.

To be sure, if you look at the video, you notice her staff suddenly changes. Her 'intro' seems to be three different scenes spliced together.

I've been a little to the spoiler thread, yet what it lacks is a official source that says: Merrill is both-gender avaivable.
It seems bloody likely though, but if you can't link to a official source i won't be able to accept it as a fact before i can see video footage of her "scenes" with a female character, or i get the game and can do it myself.

I liked how her voice got a little deeper when she got shunned by that elf. I sort of wish her accent were a little thicker, but otherwise I'm very pleased with the delivery.

Then again I also liked Carth Onasi's VA so maybe I'm some kind of abomination.

I have to take a moment to say that I think his voice is pure audio erotica, the Kaidan Alenko fangirls are not abominations, and neither are you. 

On topic, Merrill is still adorable.  I really hope you can give her a happy ending.  I'd hate to have to randomly kill her, or part ways because of our differences in class, or some BS like that.
