Isabela puts out too easily. Romance Merrill . Besides all the other reasons to do so (too many to list), it's a forbidden romance (she's a Dalish Elf after all). Forbidden fruit is the sweeter, no? (Leliana  reference!)

That's how I imagined my Dalish Warden's Romance with Alistair went. It got awkward when he gave her the rose and kissed her in front of the Zathrian Clan. I imagined the same faces on them that the drunks at the Recliffe Tavern had when Bella gave a kiss. Only I also imagined the Dalish were readying their blades, considering the fact a human just kissed a late Keeper's daughter.


Now it's Hawke's turn to be in Alistair's spot. Oh, wait.... Something is wrong with that logic.

Look at the Fenris thread, it's over 1000 pages long. I'd say we Merrill lovers are far less creepy than the Cult of Fen.

You know how in Japan men have married anime characters, video game characters, and body pillows featuring anime and video game characters? If those Tali fans were in Japan they'd probably do that. Some of them. Okay a scant few. But still... they would if they could.

I'm a Tali fan, and while I like her, I'm not that obssessed with her. In fact, I haven't even posted in her official thread here in a very long while.

I don't know, but I find something more sexy about Merrill's Welsh accent than Tali's faux-Russian accent. And plus, we the scarf as well!

There were only a few "creeper" in the old Tali threads. 

Tali was just an interesting character, vulnerable but strong, smart, but also naive, dedicated, loyal and altruistic. Feats I would admire and/or adore in any character or real person. 
So I would like to see her in ME3, hence the signature. 

How Merrill will be in DA2 remains to be seen. I hope she is interesting and has an interesting issue or conflict, because that is, what makes character interesting and intriguing. To see how they overcome there problems and conflicts and how they cope with them. Thats why Samara or Jack were so interesting in ME2 and why Jacob was so boring, because he hardly had any conflict.

Has anyone else got the sneaking suspicion that Flemeth might be after Merrill as her next hoast? It's been bugging me since I watched the snippet of gameplay posted a few pages back but why would the keeper seem so willing to send Merrill away like that? Unless it was part of some deal between Flemeth and the keeper? I'm probably reading too much in to it but it just seems wierd.

And on a side note I'm glad to see that this is one of the friendlier online comunities, where you can voice your opioion and not be textualy assulted by any and everyone who disagrees with you. It makes a nice change.

...Just incase I'm off to put on my scubba gear as I'm afraid of the potenial torrent of abuse I may get...

I really liked Tali as a character and had hoped she would become a s/s love interest.  Coming to Mass Effect 1 & 2 only a few months ago, I was horrified when I discovered the creepy obsessiveness of some of her fans (not to mention the soul-searing art you stumble upon by typing Tali Zorah into Google Image Search.)

Still, creepiness and all, I think it's a testament to how endearing, memorable, and unique a character she is.

I will do my very best to not de-evolve into a creepy Merrill fangirl of the same type.  :innocent:

I'm so painfully curious what she sounds like, but I'm trying so very hard to avoid finding out until I actually meet her in game. 

Of course, being a Doctor Who/Torchwood fan, I pretty much already know.

I didn't mean to make you feel bad or anything like that. Its just taht some people try to avoid spoilers at all costs, and could read your post by accident.
