Can i ask about Merrill? I don't want to risk a spoiler lockdown of the forum dedicated to her, but i can't seem to find answer anywhere.

Apparently you go into the fade with her and there's a demon that affects her.

What i want ot know is if anyone knows how this is settled in a good way.
Apparently many say she'll become an abomination and you have to slay her, but how are you supposed to romance her and have a good ending if this is the scenario? Even for players who tried to romance her?

I have to bump this, but i guess what i really want to know is how you're supposed to help Merrill in the fade so you can keep her for a full romance.
Are you supposed to keep her from siding with the demon by having a high friend/rivalry level with her, or do you not kill her so you can save her later by killing Marethari or something?


I would be quite pissed to begin a romance just to have to kill her i tears later.

It's unfortunate that I won't get to play until Thursday night at the earliest.

Question: How do you think Merrill would respond to someone hitting on Hawke? Consider both early in the romance and later on.

You think you have it bad? I pre-ordered the game so I'll get it around Friday, but my gaming rig just completely died  last week and what with college and other problems I won't be able to replace my computer until the end of the summer at best.

I too am curious on this matter. I wonder if she'll get jealous or not.

yeah, sorry I just had to vent my frustration. Getting back on topic now:

 As to Northern Sun's question, I would assume that early on she wouldn't care (being Dalish), but near the end she would be summoning demons at the slightest innuendo.

Yeah, me too. BTW, it's funny to see that scene since on DA Wiki there are so many people claiming that those LadyHawke/Merril pictures were "obviously" photoshopped, and now we see it's how it looks like.
Although it seems that while MaleHawke stroke Merrill's arm with his whole hand, LadyHawke will do it with tips of her fingers. Lazy as always.
