I don't ,you would have to be a doing a beyond evil red eyed red scarred renegade shep run of DA 2 to be able to pull that off n not feel bad about it(though I suppose if you could defile the urn of sacred ashes...you COULD do this)... I just know what happens because I have the strategy guide...though I do rather like rivaling Anders (which isn't hard after you tunr  him down when he tries to hit on you). You do earn a little abit of friendship telling him it was ruse...but not much to make up for the initial rival points you would gain.

He hits on you the moment you talk to him after you have done Tranquility. I hate it soooo much. And when that happens, I turn him down instantly.

That's why I always use the sarcastic options on him during the conversation.

Either way, I never accepted the demon's offer. Don't care if Merrill doesn't like it, I ain't gonna hand Feynriel over to the demon.

Okay so i just updated my fanfiction - the one I've posted a link for a few pages back.

It's on chapter three now and i just finished writing a extra chapter which is supppsed to be uploaded between chapter four and five.
That's going to be dirty! And let me say now that i am far more pleased with the end result than i thought i would be.

Though I don't have any Merrill specific fan art, I am busy writing a fanfic that spans DAO and DA2... in a way, that is.
Though it mainly involves the Warden and Leliana, I was gonna dig deeper into the romance between Hawke and Merrill after the events of DA2.

Either way, I'm sure that some fan art of Male Hawke and Merrill will pop up sooner or later.

Merrill has never given me rivalry for turning down a demon. In the Deep Roads, she even works some Dalish juju on the Hunger demon to weaken it.

Yeah i've seen and cached those two pieces before, the latter is relatively new I think. I agree that there is some great DA2 fanart out there, even some great art centered around Merrill (though those are still rare, at least for now). Just seems to be a lack of Male Hawke art, which is understandable if 70 -75% of deviantArt active members are female.

Beggars can't be choosers though, i'll take what I can get. I don't art good.

So, there's a mod out there that makes Merrill's outfit more in tune with her concept art.
I kinda like it, I know some folks might not like it cause of the name of the mod or the fact it might make some folks look at Merrill in a certain light but... comparing the mod with the picture...

Anyone else stuck in Act 3 until the patch comes out? I still can't start her Act 3 companion quest because of the glitch and I'm reluctant to do the other quests right now in case any of them conflict with the patch in some way (e.g. if the patch only fixes it if you play from the start of Act 3 onwards).
