I took this screengrab and it made me think of some sort of Merrill/Hawke indie romance film and I've been trying to think of the pre-21 century songs that would be on the soundtrack to said film. "Kiss Me" would tottally be on that soundtrack.

Nice one. However I have to admit I'm probably biased, that's a song I've been happy to listen to for a while.

Yeah, well, then it's up to YOU to make the difference.

I don't have anything to add, as the only song I can think of now is Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode, which is in my head already the whole friggin' day.

I'm still browsing through my music though. There's gotta be something somewhere...

And you're going to have to define skanky here.

Maybe "skanky" isn't the right word. Howzabout "very friendly", "enthusiastic", and... "Gets around"?

Anders was funny, but it was in a different game, one that had a drunken dwarf in it.

I think she was talking about 'awakenings' Anders...

I'm probadly no good for a song for Merrill right now as well, as all I tend to listen to alot of 'two steps from hell' lately n none of those seem to fit Merrill though I'm sure I could find one if I looked hard enough...

Anders was Funny Anders in Awakening. I'm convinced that it was the only way he could deal with his sense of powerlessness.

Skanky Isabela is the Isabela who only gets to know you from the waist down. I'm not saying that her attitude toward sex is the result of a tortured past, because that would demeaning. I think she really does just really like sex. But her aversion to intimacy, her "look out for number one" attitude... these all seem like tools, not who she is at her core.

Merrill is sincerely adorable, but it's superficial. Her adorability is all contextual. In her clan, speaking elvish, she likely would not have been adorable. She wasn't adorable in Origins. Take Merrill outside of everything, so that you're left with just Merrill, and you have things like pride, obsession, neediness (not needing anything from anyone else, but needing to be something for herself). That's not acoustic guitar. That's piano, violins, and power chords.

I think its a little different though if you go rivalry or friendship with her.

Whenever I try to romance someone else, I always fall back to Merrill. 

Or in DAO, I always fall back to Leliana.

I just can't romance somebody else. And now I'm making it sound like it's a bad thing...
