Most characters didn't get their own theme. I believe I read somewhere that Inon Zur stated in an interview that there was a lot of rushing done for the DA2 project. At the very least, the soundtrack leaves a lot to be desired for.

I remember when I first heard Fenris' theme in the game when I spoke with him. It really stands out when compared with what we hear while talking to the other companions.

I think it works fine. Hawke and Merrill are in love, they only disagree on one thing (Merrill working on the Eluvian), and I think that Merrill is starting to realise that Hawke was right to not give her the Arulin'Holm.

well the Eluvian itself is NOT bad-the blood magic is but Hawke should be able to explain that to Merrill even on friendmance path -in longer timescope of course

I actually went through every Tool song I have to try and fit one to Merrill... "Parabola" was the closest I got.

Thought about that one, too... And Jambi... To me the lyrics about being tempted by the snake in "H." recalled Merrill's demon and the allure of blood magic.
 
Parabola seemed to fit Anders better, what with the "I am not alone in this body"  Fenris has "Prison Sex" or "Intolerance" written all over him, IMHO.

I think the best part for me is I usually import my Dalish Elf Rogue lady...who romanced Leliana.
Seems like the Women of Merrill's clan have a thing for human women:wub:

Your #2 reason is why it took me so long to like them. Their fans are complete assclowns. For what it's worth, the band themselves hate their fans.

I'm not going for a degree - I already have one. My university didn't have an Illustration degree, even though that's pretty much what I do. Officially, my diploma is a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Art. On paper, my concentration was drawing and graphic design. Drawing because it was closest to illustration, and graphic design because I do about 95% of my work digitally and graphic design classes were the only classes that dealt with computer art.

BFA students at my university had to do an art show as part of graduation. Most of my work for that can be found here, if you're curious. Do you have a deviantART account, or any sort of online gallery I could check out?


I don't know if I'll finish the first two pages today. Inking's going slower than I expected (I blame Isabela. I love the pirate gal, but she's turning out to be a pain for me to draw right ). Plus I have to head out soon to meet with a client. So, here's more Merrill rough sketching:

I just read on the wiki that Merrill is supposed to destroy the mirror if the clan gets slaughtered regardless of friendship/rivalry. Anyone able to confirm?

I've only seen bits of it, but from what I've seen, I deffinately want to as well. I think they did the friendly romance fine, but the rivalmance (I suppose since before, "rivalry" was always to be avoided) was pulled off very nicely.

Of course, my #1 character will always support Merrill. Gotta love determination!

rivalmance is ok but you don't give Merrill her silver armour with "i love you for life-Hawke" inscription on the back plate
i've went with friendmance anyway:P

Merrill agrees. Something along the lines of "Some things should never come near this house". There's a bit too much twisting and turning going on in the metalwork for my taste
