To certain other people she's an object, but she doesn't think of herself that way. I don't think she's an object, but I'm sure that some people do.Maria Caliban wrote...
Isabela does not act as though she exists only for other's sexual gratification. In fact, she seems far more interested in her own desires and consistently protests when others judge her solely as a sex object.

But yeah. classes start for me tomorrow, I do a webcomic that updates 3x a week, and I'm doing a website commission. Right now the DA2 comic is my focus, but I'll have to juggle it with other stuff. Be glad I don't plan on fully coloring this and will just have simple shading/backgrounds. Inking the crew's what's taking so long.

Really now, why isn't there more of this going around? And what about her scarf? It should have its own thread, not just a few posts here and there. Moar Merrill Plz.

Surprised Merrill...

I had to dig far back for screenies in her original outfit, since apparently the scarf is quite tasty to some...

I. psychoactive drugs were common in antique societies, though not really cannabis
II. why would people with access to magic need that garbage?

Seeing that piece of fanart by
Pseudocognition made me think of something. Do any of you think that
there's a Thedas equivalent of Cannabis? If so, do you think Merrill
would use it? Dalish Elves are supposed to be in tune with nature,
right?
Hey, someone has to bring up the weird discussion topics [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/whistling.png[/smilie]

Anyone else have problems after you become romantic with Merrill, she gets her new white armor but stays at the hovel? I have a female elf servant is that causing a bug?

Yes, she'll only move in after Act 3 in my case, too. Although, in Act 2, there'll be a purple flower in a thin vase on the desk in your room, and (male, at least) Hawke will say "This the the only thing Merrill's moved in. I wonder if she doesn't feel this is her home yet?", but it stays there in Act 3. Didn't really bother me once I'd found out, but it'd be nice if she did move in shortly afterwards.
If you play on PC you can get a mod from the Dragon Age Nexus that lets you do that.DrunkDeadman wrote...
Surprised Merrill is just adorable! Scratch that. Any Merrill is adorable.
I wish you could let her keep her default outfit after you romance her. The scarf makes everything better.

I'm good at sucking the fun out of things. Sucking in general, really.

Sleazy! Vile! Must you give in to stereotype and insinuation?
Danarius
was so awfully polite. Unlike all the other fetch quests, Danarius
actually sends you a letter after you return his waylaid property to
him. He invites you to Minrathous and offers a tour of the Arcanist Hall
if you ever take him up on it.
He
rescues Fenris's sister and offers to make her a magister! Do you think
elves have such social mobility in Kirkwall, Ferelden, or Orlais? Ever
recall seeing an elf in a position of power there? No, I didn't think
so.

Lady Hawke also says that line.
The one thing that I find annoying is Bodhan constantly telling me how Merrill keeps sneaking out of the house... stay out of this you damn dwarf! <_<
I'd do that already were I not a dirty console peasant.Malevolence65 wrote...

Really?! You're going to play that card? Fine. I'll grant you that one. It seems that all it takes to get ahead in Tevinter is to be irredeemably evil, pointy ears or no.
