No, I knew nothing about specialization manuals that don't appear in the game and are only available via console.

Yes, well done, like the rest of his pics. I can pass it off as sucking on a bleeding wound, as is typical, but it really looks like she's drinking it... Or eating her hand... Neither are my cup of tea.

I've been succesful the few times I've tried my hand at writing from differing perspectives. I may begin a Merrill FanFic and let you sample to see if it's "Decent" or "Ugh, complete ****". I'd probably go from the perspective of a 2h or dual spec Hawke, kind and/or sarcastic, probably with a lot of in-game events, but not as linear as the other FanFic I read. It would probably end up taking longer to progress, but with more content.

Something I've really been wondering, though, is what Merrill was doing with the light and noise, crouched away from Hawke & Co when we first meet her? I'd be writing from a Merrill perspective, either thinking of the past after the end game events, or in daily journal entries like the previously mentioned FanFic. If I can get the mindset, I'll probably start, but I was planning on starting it on the day we meet Merrill, and that her and Marethari had had another argument over her leaving, and with the Eluvian, so she had stormed off up the mountain (Doesn't make sense that the unexpected Hawke would have Merrill waiting for him when she didn't think anyone was coming). Any ideas as to what that light/noise was?

A shard of the Eluvian? Or perhaps blood magic at work?

Those would be my suggestions. I don't know anything else that could apply to that situation...

For now, I'd go with the shard.

It was the shard of the eluvian.

It sings. Because *everything* magical in Thedas sings.

Also, while I adore Merrill, I could do without Supertramp popping into my head whenever I think about her.

Like the lyrium idol?

I never have heard it sing yet... I am disappointed now. I als haven't heard an abomination sing. Nor I have heard Merrill sing.

Bah. I am even more disappointed now.

I think Merrill would be a great singer. Well, if she thought nobody was watching... Posted Image

I'll bet.

I want to see an Abomination Barbershop Quartet...

This soooo much! :o

As long as it doesn't end up in a massacre, I'm fine with it. ^_^

That'd be an instant kill for anyone within the mage's radius when using that attack.

It can be upgraded to the Reaper Roll, though... much larger radius.

Sorry if I sound stupid, but...

How does the woman relate to Merrill exactly?

Care to explain, pretty please?

"I doubt this actress is singing this aria. Her throat mouth movements are not consistent with singing those notes. As a trained singer myself, I can tell she is NOT the singer.Whoever sang it has a lovely soprano voice, though."

I agree.

I would say My Hands fits Merrill. Very sweet song and powerful. Listen to it if you haven't before.:wizard:

@ Maria Caliban & T3hAnubis:
Ah, I see...

She actually looks far more different than what I expected.

And since I'm not much of a pro-singer (heck, I'd only shatter mirrors and windows and stuff! :P) I really wouldn't know if she was singing or just play-backing or something.

Ignorance is bliss, right? ;)

Assuming the red stuff is blood, I can only say that it's a lot of blood.

If there's anything DA2 taught us, it's a typical humanoid contains about six buckets of blood, stored under high pressure.

That's a very nice fanart though.

I didn't actually recognize her at first in that video. I'm used to this Eve Myles looking like this.

Truth be told, all voice actors and actresses are fully unknown to me. :?

I'd love to see a Dutch voice actor once. In my opinion, we have quite funny English accents... :P Sometimes bordering the field of "horrible". :D
