My doodles were always on the backs of one-sided work sheets ../../../images/forum/emoticons/wink.png

I figured, just pointing out even with pencils, I've spent a lot of money for art. Even doodles. My pens tend to disappear on me and I have to replace them. ... Which is partly why I take notes on a laptop when I can.

I don't think they do. Which is kind of surprising, really, because it seems like there are a lot of male elves who seem to be getting a little bare up there. Thought they'd have more lushious hair than humans,
really.

Considering how city elves and the Dalish have to live and what they deal with, I don't blame some of the males for losing some hair.

Does the Ancient Armor helm count?

While it's a head covering, I'm not sure helm = hat. It works as protection in battle. Hats are usually for fashion or for protection from the sun.

Edit: Void take the forum formatting! It is hating me today! :pinched:

They could also be shaving their hair off to keep lice away, seeing as the Alienage is a slum and all.

It is getting uglier the more I add...I might give up, hehe.

Don't give up! Keep drawing it over and over until it improves.
I'd be a killer artist right now if I didn't frequently give up. I get ambitious and start lots of pictures and never finish anything, then I become disillusioned and take a months-long break until something inspires me, then the whole process starts over again.

...which it has. Check it, the first step towards my latest downward spiral.

Which, once again, I've lost the drive to finish. Might try something a little more action-y next.
Also, I changed her hair-things. I like them better this way.

I always need good music to draw, maybe I'll feel inspired again once I flip through my song library.

I often listen to music when I draw, or leave the TV on in the background as noise. Depends on what I'm working on.

Fan art wise, has anyone found any new Merrill stuff? I haven't seen anything new on DA, though sometimes the search function doesn't show everything there. People sometimes misspell her name or don't add her as one of the tags when they submit deviations. :\\

I like it! You have the outline/shape of her face correct. It actually looks like her, as opposed to some other elf in her clothes (which is the reaction I get to a lot of Merrill art on DA).

Hey guys! Just finished my first piece of art since I got my tablet. :D Of course it's DA2 related. Posted Image

My rogue Vale with her love, Merrill. (Merril's hair is based on the hair from her concept art rather than her in-game hair.)<3

Very nice, Ora! Is this your first tablet ever, or did you just replace an older one?

*protip: no. no they weren't <3

I could make a joke about Isabela letting her friend come first...

Apparently, Mr. Gaider begged for shoes, but the art team wouldn't give in.

I have to go with the art team here.

Your old tablet's about as old as my current one then. Old Reliable. It still works great, so I still use it. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png[/smilie]

Plus, I'm too broke to get a new one. XD

She's probably good for a Dalish at math. I have trouble believing Dalish society has a rigorous mathematics curriculum.

Dalish word problems: If there are five halla in the camp, and each of them gets four sheafs of wheat each week, how long before the shemlen come and try to kill all of us?

What's the connection between the halla's, the four sheafs of wheat and the shemlen killing you all??

Unless you're taking the... er-hem route, you're gonna be spending quite some money.

1. You can install a single copy on up to three machines.
2. It's a write-off if you're buying it for a business.

I find it disturbing my PC's vagina functions as some tardis-like wardrobe. I no longer what to know how/where my BioWare characters always manage to stuff their 20 pairs of armor and 15 sword, staffs, and axes.

And a better color scheme, honestly.

Still haven't found one I like in the mods, either.

True, true...

My school actually purchased my license for me. Still don't know if I just got the Creative Suit CS5 or the Premium version of it... All I know is that I only have to purchase a new license code with each year. Which I heard is cheaper.
