I actually used the Enasalin Set all the way until the final battle, at which point I switched to the Champion armor. I favored looks over stats for the most part.

Sadly that won't be such a good idea on Nightmare difficulty...

I just completed my Enasalin set this evening.

Too bad I hate rogues :(

But I'm almost done with her (yay!). Then, I have to do my mage.

AND THEN I CAN FINALLY ROMANCE MERRILL AGAIN

If you're on the PC there is a leveling version of Enasalin so you can wear it from the start through as you level. Granted that is using Console commands and is cheating by those standards. But it would help on Nightmare to keep your looks without being as gimped. Not the case for consoles but it's a solution for looks while still doing nightmare.

I don't give a flying walenda about cheating!! So, is this command listed on the wiki or does it come with a mod or something?

So it's a version that improves with each level up like the Fadeshear and that stuff? I WANTZ!

A just reward for your suffering... Merrill's loving touch makes everything better. <3

@Zjarcal: yes, it has the same leveling property as Fadeshear. It's in one of Sunnie's item packs. I don't have a link, as I'm on my phone, but if you search on the Nexus, you'll find them.

*delurks from playing his rogue character who is romancing Isabella...but seriously is considering going back to Merrill-mancing...*

I'm still working on completing my ensalin for my current avatar...and lord knows...as soon as I get to act 3 I'm hunting down my champion set...just as I did with my warrior Hawke...then I can finally do my one n only mage playthrough( who will be female...I already her pic and level stats in my profile...her name is Marina...and she most likely will be romancing Fenris or Merrill...though I may hold Fenris for my warrior female character).

Ah goodie, Sunnie is on my friend list so searching for her stuff won't be hard. Thanks! :wizard:

I googled that and learned about The Flying Wallendas.

I think it's telling that despite a great deal of complaining about not being able to change companion armor, one of the first mods released gave you Champion's Armor that leveled over time, as well as the various leveling 'signature' weapons for the companions.

Fenris is for my male mage, Marcus. Then, it's a female warrior or mage. I'd rather do a mage, but I want Bethany. There are ways around it, but they're... iffy.

But how cute would Lady Hawke/Merrill blood mage sex be? SO VERY!

And now I learned about it too... :o

I had been using that expression without really knowing what a flying wallenda was, ever since I heard it from Frank Barone.

http://www.dragonage...s/cat.php?id=54

That link is all 3 packs of the Sunnie's leveling items for Dragon Age 2. It includes all weapons you'll need. There are so many add ons though. Another interesting one is to make all your champion sets look like the Seekers are wearing. There is almost every style of cool looking weapons to pick from.

What you will want with that item pack is probably Vaddin/Vaddi

http://social.biowar...7/index/6587675

Lastly to activate the Console and everything else you'd need to know command wise.

http://dragonage.wik...(Dragon_Age_II)

Should note that since the items upgrade as you level you will be able to use them as soon as you start. Though there is further cheats you could get like 0 item properties and so on. All the ones I'm giving you now is just to help you get that Ensalin or whatever armor and things you like at the begining. With her item packs you'll start off wearing Champion Set. To get the item set you want would be a command like

runscript vaddin enasalin

It would then list all that come up with that name for you to loot. The full set at lvl 1.

Would be better if there was a full on toolset. Someone might have fixed Varric and the other companion bugs by now.

Here is the start of a short multi-part story featuring Merrill and Co. called Sweet Child O' Mine.

Great start, Esbatty! I added it to my alerts. One thing--with dialogue, keep the comma on the inside of the quotation marks. For example:

"Shut up," he said.

Instead of:

"Shut up", he said.

(which is what you tended to have in your chapter.) But punctuation is a minor, easy fix.

In British English, the second is correct

I thought it was "Merrillcat" or something like that...

Either I am dumb and have no brains, or that was one of the topics on the first pages of this thread.

Please let it be the latter. I already had a bad day.

If you get the item after installing the mod, then there's no need to use a console command.
