Good times. Shame I had to kill him at the end that one time, eh.

Heh. Frolicking must be part of that preserved elven heritage guarded by the Dalish.

Also, awwww ^_^

Fenris loves to hatefrolic. Orsino will frolic along in a rational manner until he suddenly uses blood magic to bind shrubs, bushes, and flowers to his body and transforms into the Florister.

Jolee? I detested him. Killing that loudmouth was a pleasure.

*snort* (I actually snorted in laughter. Got quite a strange look from my husband.)

I can imagine my Hawke pouting because she isn't allowed to frolic on account of being human.

I'm having a lot of trouble initiating Merril romance.

My first playthrough I inadvertently got into romance with anders by choosing what I thought was the "friendly" dialogue option and letting him hide from the templars at my house. This blocked my attempted romance with Merril for the rest of the game.

My second playthrough, i purposely avoided any flirtatious dialogue with Anders and told him our relationship was strictly business. I romanced Isabella at beginning of Act 2, then flirted with Fenris, and then I was ready to visit Merril's house for the first time in Act 2 and initiate romance with Merril. (I understand that once romance is started with either Merril or Anders, you cannot romance any other characters for the rest of the game.)

However, not matter how many times I visit merril (during middle of Act 2), she has no flirtation dialogue options.

You can flirt with Merrill in Act 1 when you first talk to her in her house.

In Act 2, after you do her quest and questioning beliefs, she'll be at your mansion if you go there at night.

Yeah man no Dalish Elf would ever fall in love with a human either I mea-

Oh right.

Fixed it for you

What? "In belief"? What am I supposed to do with that?

I also like that you added the text, bolded it, but did not spellcheck it.

Perfect, thanks so much, Maria.

I'll try that. Do I need to bring her to Sundermount to initiate her quest, or does it start after I kill the Mature Dragon there?

Hope you can forgive that, i never spellcheck...
What i originally meant was that a dalish wouldn't marry in the andrastian faith, it's like denying what they are.

You could flirt with her during her questioning beliefs, and after the events of her act 2 quest.

She might not even accept your advances till act 3. My brother had her visiting him only in act 3.

If Merrill were to get married to Hawke, I don't think an Andrestean ceremony would bother her. She might also want a dalish ceremony.

I agree. I don't think a Chantry service would really be that meaningful to her either way.

I note Orsino wears shoes. Perhaps he's never been an actual elf, but a disguised Harvester all along.

It would likely be Merrill's choice regardless, though i'm sure she would want Hawke's input. I don't know how possible a Dalish ceremony would be without Dalish elves to perform it. I suppose it depends on what the ceremony is/would be.
