I might be the boards' #1 Dalish fan, so I'm happy we get a Dalish companion but! I kind of have to admit that I hope she doesn't show up in my Dalish PC's playthrough, at least not after Blight timeline. I love you Merrill, but you're supposed to be taking a look at the Hinterlands as the new home of the Dalish! >.>

Wait, the Dalish have Welsh accents? I thought elves were keeping the midwest US accents while the Free March humans got the Welshness. No? (Merril and the Dalish Warden's clan were definitely US in DAO - though I guess that's hardly a game-breaking alteration.)

Dalish boon!  I'll have to see how it's played out, I guess.  But it's strongly implied that the entire clan and not just Keeper Marethari come for the coronation ceremony/funeral.  Just hoping it's not one of those things that are overlooked!

Still pretty shocked it's actually Merrill, but she really is freaking adorable. I can't wait to hang with her. And lay waste to anyone who tries to hurt her. Aww, I bet she and Carver would be a cute couple...

Dalish boon!  I'll have to see how it's played out, I guess.  But it's strongly implied that the entire clan and not just Keeper Marethari come for the coronation ceremony/funeral.  Just hoping it's not one of those things that are overlooked!

Gaider confirmed that they migrated north, as in the entire clan, IIRC. Isn't it Zathrian's clan that goes there, with his apprentice as keeper?

When I heard that Merrill could be a companion a few days ago, I was not thrilled. Remembering her from Origins, I thought she was bossy and even though I didn't and still don't know very much about her, I originally jumped on the dislike bandwagon.

But I can say that now I've had a change of heart, again with no information about her, due to the video. Her appearance isn't everything, but I can say it is a step in the right direction. She's cute, she's fully clothed; I really don't see anything to dislike about her appearance. Hopefully she's mellowed out a tad since Origins.

I liked Merrill a lot in the Origin (what little we saw of her) and I think for Male Dalish it was implied they were involved? Or perhaps that's fanon? I'm looking forward to meeting up with her and hearing her new voice ;-)

I hope if she's an LI that the human/Dalish thing is more of an issue for her to ovecome than it seemed to be for our Wardens (written in game not RP'd I mean). But, eh, that's my deal and I'm sure she'll be great fun.
