Well you can't please everyone, still I'd be happy if she wasn't a romance option, there are so many other types of relationships for Bioware to explore other than Romance, it would be nice if people realized that.

Don't worry about it.. Its obvious thats she's a real artist. I'm sure she's taken your advice to heart..Subconsciously at least..

I don't mind criticism at all. The thing is, though I may be an artist, I am not a 3D program. Also as thoroughly demonstrated by the early in-game image of Isabela being passed around as an example of her allegedly bloated face, eyes lie.

about your comment on how you think you made her too short, hmmm...maybe, she's a bit short but i think it works to her advantage here, i think it enhances her cuteness if that is even a real word^_^

The problem with disliking and disagreeing with absolutely everything on the last few pages is that it eventually makes it hard to take you seriously.

I still want to draw Isabela squooshing her in a hug, so maybe next to a human I can make her the right height. To photoshop!

 We get it. You want a soft, pretty woman who doesn't have any opinions, masculine features, and has the moral purity of a vestal virgin. We get it, we really do.

The thing is I'd imagine writing such a...fascinating character must be boring. Writers like to write unique characters, characters that get a reaction, characters that are not solely caricatures, and what you seem to want seems to be at odds with that.

What in the hell does any of that have to do with Pseudocognition's drawing.

Who said anything about disliking her picture. I recal specifically saying in that post that her art is obviously good.

Fair enough. Dimensions on the mouth could be imperceptable in that screenshot. I do still think that the brows are further apart from each other, though.

I have been working on reading through all the pages, but haven't gotten that far yet (page 13...). But nice artwork from what I've seen on this page.

I for one like Merril's design... because it is actually a rather realistic design. So far I am seeing a lot "she looks too young" comments... There are plenty of people that look to be in their early/mid-teens but they are actually over the age of twenty. I'm one of them, and so are plenty of people who are playing teenagers in movies/TV shows. Sorry. Just had to say that because it always annoys me when people assume that someone is a kid because they look like one.

Maybe she will look older once we actually get into the game and it is just the screen that makes her look young. But I don't mind her looking young and being an LI, as long as she is actually of adult age and isn't actually a teen (and I'm pretty sure she isn't one)

A lot of things hint at it. Previews, writer talk, the story video shows a circle of companions and Merrill is on it. Ect.

Ah, okay, thanks.  I haven't followed the game's development as closely as I did the first game's, partly because I decided I would like to be surprised about some of the party members.  We'll see how principled I can be about not spending too much time on the forums before the game comes out.

I'm beginning to wonder though if DAII will have its Jenkins equivalent, and if we've seen him or her yet...

Out of curiousity who is the guy on the bottom, he looks like a noble I would think its Sebastian, but this guy has side bangs...

To be honest if I wanted to be in a female relationship in game I think it would be with Avaline
though warrior F!Hawke defending Merrill from an attack is pretty cute Revoluntionary Girl Utana is running in my head right now

Probably an unnanounced companion. Some have speculated Anders, or his look-alike.
