My impression of the whole frolicking thing was that first I figured Merrill was making a joke. Which she does on rare occasions.

The other is that Frolicking does not necessarily mean ... it can also mean just prancing around and what not, which is more the picture that formed in my head.

After starting act 2 do not talk to mother until after the Merrill love scene. Talk too her twice after that and on the second time she will mention it.

If you romance both Anders and Merrill, in Anders romance scene he will ask Hawke if he/she "Finally saw the demon behind that virginal smile". Just thought I'd throw that out there, as it made me laugh when I heard it.

I was so happy when she said something along the lines of "Seeing you and Merrill makes me think I may not be too old for romance."  It was nice to hear, considering earlier when she remarked on finding Hawke a husband.

Looking back it was sadly prothetic, considering she caught the eye of the very worst suitor imaginable.

I did. in front of Merrill. Surprisingly, Merrill was cool with it. She didn't flip out or anything.

There's bunch of elves on the wounded coast trying to kill an alleged werewolf you can choose to defend or not. Depending whether you've resolved their curse in DAO, i guess.

The girl in question looks a bit like the archer elf in the initial concept cartoon. Has a mohawk.
