Maybe, but it's... it's like... Hrmm.

It's like coming across the facebook-or-such profile of a partner and finding a string of comments from previous lovers, debating their sexual performance. As much as I might agree that, yes, that thing she does with her leg is great, I can't help but be weirded out slightly by the exchange.

I think you have to keep her approval neutral for that to happen.

Not gonna lie, my flat mate said this of Merrill after seeing me play some of DA2 (the build up: He knows I've beaten the game 3 times and romanced Merrill twice. He also knows that I love any combo in which my Warrior Staggers and Merrill lets off a chain of spells, I usually exclaim "I love Merrill" when she wipes out 4 enemies in front me.)
"I bet she's got really soft skin and smells like the woods. That and a great set of ta-ta's."
He then walked out of the room like it was nothing.

There also don't seem to be nearly as many witch hunts whenever someone has a big thing to say about the character in question. We're clearly doing it wrong.

Also, nipples are more fun, generally speaking.

I think Iaius means in the art from spiraledonista. She only has the green tunic, her scarf, and leather portions of her armor. None of the chainmail is present.

I'm so glad that they didn't take that direction when designing Merrill's face.

As am I. I actually classed my fourth Merrill armor (which uses her romance outfit's model) as heavy armor.

I've seen some interesting mods for Merrill's armor that allow for more skin to be shown without being overly gratuitous. Of course I've also seen some mods for her armor that'll make me blush... In the end I'm happy with her design even if I wish I could modify her armor a bit more than DA2 lets me*.

*I don't understand why my Warrior Hawke keeps finding gear intended for Rogue and Mage Hawke. Why can't I give those to my Rogues and Mages?
