Same. I'm finding it really hard to even do a romance with anyone else. I feel like I'm just going to go back to Merrill.
She's my favorite LI in DA2. I

Justice. He brings it up when you go to the sewers to collect poop.
Esbatty needs to repost his version of that exchange. It was awesome. And then go post it in the Anders thread.
...
And I'm not setting foot in the Anders thread. That thread doesn't have a boobalicious Anders distaff counterpart pic floating around in it to draw me in. Like Femris... oh man, the things I'd do to a Femris. rrrrrrrrrrrowl Lyrium breasts, indeed.

You did one of your little dialogs a while back that was based on that conversation.

Anders: You know she'll turn on you for that demon, first chance she gets. Now twist that into a fuse - I mean, flammable bracelet.
Hawke: Seriously, who are you to give relationship advice? You last boyfriend went tranquil and then you shanked him and got all sulky.
Anders: I mean it Hawke, she gets so much as a paper cut and its over. Could you find it in your heart to love an abomination?
Hawke: Uhh... get your hand off my thigh.

- First we have Gaider and his carefully chosen VA list which put Eve Myles and what I can only describe as adorably sexy in sound form as Merrill's voice.
- Second the Art department created a revamped adorably sexy Merrill.
- Thirdly, we have Mary Kirby crafting Merrill into this wonderful paradox of an enigma to toy with our emotions and/or libidos.
- Lastly we have the cinematic team creating these really well done cutscenes that help frame everything that is awesome about our little dalish blood mage.
And no one can say "But conspiracies involve 5 people and you have only 4 entries", 'cause thats crap because I believe Mary Kirby is exactly 3 entities:
The first is the physical Mary Kirby that everyone at the BW offices sees on a day to day basis. This Mary exists in what I call "reality" or the "The Real World" (not affiliated with Road Rules or MTV).
Also we have Mary Kirby's subconscious the one that has tapped into the Human Collective Unconscious to distill all that is cute, adorable, quirky, and a term i can only sum up as "sad-magneting". The Mary Kirby Subconscious has no tangible form but does have the odd ability to cause Mary Kirby to slip into fugue states to which she awakens an undetermined amount of time later unable to understand how entire dialogues were written.
Then, finally, we have the third Mary Kirby incarnation which I dub "The Editor". The Editor is like a second personality within Mary Kirby that appears as a visual, but non-tangible, part of Mary that appears on her shoulder and helps her "edit" the fugue manifested dialogue. The Editor appears a smaller version of Mary but with little red horns on her head and white haphazardly contructed wings loosely applied to its back. Its been said that only one person has witnessed a conversation between Mary and The Editor, that person was David Gaider, whom after having slowly backed out of Mary's work area immediately forgot his middle name. In fact all evidence of his middle name was struck from all public and private records. Its believed The Editor had edited its existence from "The Real World" as a warning to any others who approach Mary's proximity without announcing their arrival via knocking or calling ahead of time.
So once again, with all this knowledged reveal unto you all, I can tell you without ego that Merrill is the greatest Bioware companion in the history of Bioware games.

I am legally obligated to deny this, but she certainly earns a place in my top ten. Maybe even five.
