The person that sits is the middle guy you chose in your party. The first and last person you chose will be standing up.

 i know this probably belongs in the bethany thread-but i was wondering: how would bethany react to a fem!Hawke/merrill romance, you know like in party banter with merrill. If she was still in the party during Acts 2 and 3 i mean.

Agreed. You gain rivalry with Bethany if you support Merrill when she brings down the barrier with blood magic (in her first quest), so it's safe to say that Bethany would be somewhat weary of the situation, but would eventually just deal with it because of how much she respects her sister.

Bethany and Merrill seem to get along. It's true that Bethany has an issue with blood magic, but she only mentions it once in dialogue with Merrill when discussing the lack of Circles in Dalish society, and the two of them even have fun discussions - i.e. the pet griffin named Feathers and eating a cake the size of Kirkwall. Bethany doesn't seem to have the problems with Merrill dating Hawke that Anders does, which likely is a result of his feelings for Hawke and his hardcore views on blood magic. I'm more surprised we don't get more from Leandra about Hawke dating Merrill besides the one line that seems a bit generic.

Dammit its been like a month since I updated my Merrill story. I'm torn between two scenarios for their wedding night. I honestly wish I knew more about the whole Dalish bonding thing, 'cause otherwise I'm just making stuff up as I go along so. *sigh*

I really don't want to write out the whole "consumation" scene but I feel Hawke talks waaaaaay too much as it is. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT...
