I disagree. She's got an INT of 22 and a WIS of 8.
Unless you meant to imply that the UN are full of bright minds chomping at the bit to solve the world's problems efficiently and effectively, in which case... *gogglesnort*

A friend of mine taught me that in Japan. She'd just go anywhere and do anything, ignoring all the "do not enter" signs, and if she ever got caught she'd just give them puppy eyes and say "I don't speak Japanese" and they'd let her off with a warning.
All of Merril's Merril-ness isn't an act. But the fact that the Arishok doesn't just pulp her means something's working.

I like it.
For the record, I think Merrill is intellectual, wise, and intelligent. Haters can hate.

Tell me there's option to tell the Arishok something like "please ignore our ignorant mage". Just to see if his expression gets any better.Giggles_Manically wrote...
Anyone here take Merrill with Hawke during the after talk for Black Powder Courtesy?
She buts in twice with the Arishok as he rants.
OMG.
I swear at one point he looked at her like this:
(oO lolcat)
Way to impress our foreign visitors Merrill.

Finally made a Hawke for Merrill's romance (rivalry-Garrett Hawke disapproves of blood magic and attempts to fix the "killer mirror"). What lines does she has after the outfit change-what's her equivalent of Fenris' "I enjoy following you" line? All she'll say is comments about whatever area the party's in.
"Do you think we could go swimming later?" "Do you think we could go swimming later?" "Do you think we could go swimming later?"
I like the white outfit.
Nice to hear that Friendly Concern works for her now.

Still my ALL TIME fave line in the Merrill romance:
"I was thinking of scandalizing the neighbors by having my Dalish lover move in. What do you think?"
I mean its not enough that a FERELDAN refugee moves into town.
He brings his war dog, and his elf lover move in with him.
The codex entry is maximum lolz.

Gods that would be the best thing ever... if the profoundly dangerous mystical artifact with all the stereotypical "do not touch! bad mojo" warning cliches on it turned out to be useful. If it gives us any solid answers to the question of "what is going on with these gods and these elves and these blights and all that?" it'll be worth any sacrifice, considering how hard to find any solid information on anything is.

I've been thinking a lot about the Dalish and Magic recently and ugh what if that mirror really is an incredibly important thing and all the sacrifice is worth it?

Kink Meme has a very short one that covers this called "101 ways to apologize in Elvan" - pretty funny http://dragonage-kin...14235#t12814235

That would be one of those moments where Hawke auto responding based on their pre-existing personality really bugs me. I mean, come on.
Merrill: I love you!
Hawke: <cracks a joke>
No, no, no.

In my head canon, Hawke would say something like "I love you too. In fact, I was thinking of scandalizing the neighbors by having my Dalish lover move in. What do you think?"
