OH i know im just being funny. I do like how I can build a friendship for the first part of the game, and then switch to rivalry when it becomes clear it's what she needs.

I do like that your character is injured at the time, too. Does the mage champion armour include an armoured codpiece? It really ought to.

It's strange to see Aveline gain Friednship so late in game for me, she's usually maxed by the end of Act 1 for me ^^

That's the implication, yes. She'll still have her blood mage style abilities, mind.

It's implied that she gives up blood magic along with the mirror, but the gameplay mechanics will still have her as a blood mage. Only way to prevent that is to not put any points in her blood mage tree.

She will still look for lost elven history(since that's the point of being a keeper and a dalish), but I think that she gives up consorting with demons after A New Path.

Its to me like saying:

Even on the Friendship path, Merrill decides to focus on a new path for her life, asking Hawke what she should do - which is where Hawke can suggest some possible goals, like helping the Alienage, or he can tell her that whatever she decides, they will do it together (if romanced). This is made clear because Merrill stops going to the Alienage to work on the Eluvian and remains in the Hawke Estate, regardless of whether the clan is even killed or not.

Is she consorting with demons? Merrill learned blood magic from Audacity, who was trapped in a totem by ancient elven magic, and she summoned a spirit to destroy the barrier on Sundermount - which was likely the only way that destroying the barrier was possible. Besides that, we never see her dealing with any spirits (or demons). Merrill is the one who addresses that all spirits are dangerous, and cautions Hawke to be careful if he's speaking with one.
