Yes, all the companions get new lines for the DLC, with some very specific lines for Anders and Varric. Its been said we should defintely try the Legacy missions during Act 1 and then on another playthrough Act 3. Apparently stuff varies with time having passed. So I'm rather excited for that.

She is Stupid B*TCh! And I don't allow her to touch my Hawkes even with staff!
Why Bioware don't give opportunity to kill\\ sell her like Fenris?

Is Merrills dialogue much different after having a full rivalry with her compared to the friendship path?

Just started to wonder since she's still quite nice to me even though I pretty much said that she's an idiot with the mirror...

Yes, the two differ significantly at a few specific points throughout the game, much like the other companions. It doesn't change every interaction, however.

I have only rivaled her once, but i mostly found changes in dialogue about her or about her quests, everything else; enviroment quotes, party comments to quests etc. were pretty much the same.

Yeah, rivalry only affects Hawke/Merrill dialog and nothing else. The scenes at her home with Hawke are totally different from the friend version. I've also heard that if you had full rivalry locked in before the Mirror Image quest and then give her the tool, her dialog afterwards is even different from both the 'normal' friend and rival paths.

Part of me would be tempted to run a script to get her rivalry down just to see if it is different. But Merrill being mad at me does hurt a little inside. Even if it's for a good cause.

That "S" word cuts like a knife. It's not my fault I was born that way!

Hey Merrill fans. Merrill is awesome and I think her romance is the nicest of all DA2 romances. Though I don't really like her romance outfit, particularly because her neck seems so long, which is usually covered up by that green scarf. Do any of you know of some mods that fix this? Something that either lets her keep her original outfit, adds the scarf to the romance outfit or some other outfit altogether?

I only got this game a week ago.

Is there something wrong with me, because I had a huge mansquee moment when I met Merrill. It was something like...

Hawke: Ohmygod she's so adorable! Aveline, can we keep her!?
Aveline: (facepalm) Dammit, Hawke.
