If you actually beat down the last boss without resorting to invoking Killallhostiles against shades at least once, you're a better man than I. More so than usual, I mean.

Or you were actually doing it correctly, whilst I wasn't. Who knows. Bethany kept getting stuck on a rock and immolated, which didn't help matters.

Hawke and Merrill were running like mad.

Hawke: See! I do take you to interesting places!
Merrill: I meant a nice quite glade or camp! NOT A BLOODY DEATH MAZE!
Hawke: Geez picky picky!
Merrill: Watch it!

Hawke: After this I promise no dragons, demons, or other bad things... for a weekend.
Merrill: Oh.... guess that is all I can get huh?
Hawke: Around me it is honey.

It should be able to trigger with other characters around. It may just be the randomness of the banters and scarcity of triggers that's made these harder to hear.

Cool beans. When I get the chance, I will play the DLC again with my canon(Merrill friendmance) Hawke, and see it for myself. However, I will probably be spoiled of the exchange before I get the chance.

The way she says "interesting..." when you do the ritual at Dumats statue makes me very curious for future content and how Hawke's and Merrill's story continues.

My canon Hawke is sarcastic/charming. Does the dialogue only work with certain personality types?

No you will always get something, but what you get changes.

So how long of gameplay does Legacy add?

I 've been hearing less to 2 hours, to some1 taking over 4 hours and not seeing an end yet.
