Yeah, they weren't too happy about that. The were slightly less happy still when the Dalish decided that the blight just wasn't their problem... and things got really awkward when they burnt Val Royeaux to the ground.
Hey total accident, brah. That whole invading thing. All they wanted was some cheese, but Orlais ran out, so the elves got really angry and we all know what came next.

I love snarky Merrill. Given the circumstances, I imagine Hawke desperately trying not to look at Merrill's feet.

I guess not too many people on this thread have pro-Templar Hawkes.

Well, before the final battle at least, but then jumping templars are expected.

I just started a new playthrough in about a month, so far i have only played Legacy with old saves that had completed the game.
In this playthrough i plan on doing it in act 2 to have mommy alive to talk to after it's done, but i also want to get the banter with Carver about romancing Merrill(love seing him squirm O_o), so i just wanted to see if anyone knows if a romance with her will be recognized by him(assumming you did so) if you play through Legacy before act 3(where she first "oficially" moves in).
Thankies!

I was mostly suspicious of it because "Friendly Concerns" never trigger until act 3 for me.

I always get it after doing at least one Qunari related quest.
Damn qunari getting in the way of sexy times.

Um, it's kind of absurd that Merrill would be thinking of Hawke as an uncertain gender, hence why I didn't post it that way.Giggles_Manically wrote...

So your strategy of being more open and inclusive is to nonsensically alter other peoples' statements? Someone may well be wrong here, but is it them?Giggles_Manically wrote...
But what about the people at my university who keep telling me to be more open and inclusive and PC so much?

If you can no longer tell the difference between "people at your university" and "forumgoing Merrill fans," you may want to try out another educational institution. That is what they seem to do to all my papers really.

Ever wonder Merrill is thinking right here?
Honestly I wonder that for every companion really.
lovely picture! ^^
however, i think none of the other party members, neither carver or bethany, cares for hawke more than merrill, regardless of the friendship/rivarly path

Just came to think i never had Varric have that position, that would almost be a too melodramatic expression on his face..
